Have you ever heard the noises porcupine makes? It may be the cutest sound on earth.

Zookeepers get to have extraordinary bonds with the animals they tend to. And while it seems as if the zookeepers are the ones in charge at the zoo, it’s really the animals who call the shots.

Take Teddy Bear a North American porcupine for example.

When his keeper asks him to share his corn with her he immediately gives her a piece of his mind and answers her right back in his weirdo porcupine voice, “No!”

Their hilarious back and forth was all captured on video.

“A talking porcupine! Zooniversity’s North American porcupine, ‘Teddy Bear,’ gets a cob of corn for a treat — but, he doesn’t like to share,” the video’s caption reads. “Listen carefully to see what he has to complain about!”

That video ended up going viral and was viewed more than 8 million times.

“This is Teddy one of our North American porcupine’s,” the zookeeper says off camera. “Teddy, come here. Would you like some corn on the cob?”

The porcupine grabs it with his tremendous teeth and tiny little porcupine hands.

“Do you have it? Don’t drop it,” she said. “There’s Teddy and his corn on the cob. He loves corn.”

And that’s quite obvious as he voraciously nibbles away at it. Then the zookeeper asks Teddy Bear if he is willing to share his corn with her.

“Teddy can you share your corn with me?” she says pulling on the corn.

She barely finishes her sentence before he lets a squeaking noise out that seems to says “No!!” and he pulls back on the corn cob.

“NO?” Let me have it” she says to him tugging at it.

The more she tugs the louder his squeals and protests get as he resists letting go.

“You won’t share?” she asks.

He just keeps on eating his corn like a savage and making the most adorable noises we’ve ever heard. He yells at her and she finally releases her grip on the corn. He lets out another squeal which seems to be him saying “Thank you.”

“Oh yeah?” she says to Teddy Bear.

At this point, he’s just being rude and is carrying on a conversation with his mouth full.

“Ok, you have your corn on the cob now,” she tells before she lets go of it.

The sound that is coming out of this porcupine is insanely adorable. I want to make it my ringtone. Check it out in the video below.
