A mother, may it be a human or an animal, will literally do anything just to ensure the safety of her children.

Motherhood comes in different ways and styles.

From carrying a life inside her womb, giving birth, and taking good care of their child from day 1 up to the day when life inevitably separates them.

Compared to animals, human moms get easy access to a lot of things during emergencies. They can easily call for help from their husband, family members, friends, and even neighbors. There is also 911 and other related government agencies that they can call anytime and anywhere.

Being an animal mom just hits differently, they rarely have a partner with whom they can share parenting. They have literally no access to an emergency hotline for they fend for themselves and their children.

Call it unfair but that’s just how things are for them.

However, animals are still blessed with “guardian angels.”

When talking about “guardian angels,” we mean groups or organizations that fight for animal rights and welfare. These kindhearted groups are ready 24/7 to serve and protect animals and most of them are non-profit.

However, it’s no longer a secret to most of us that there are ‘Good Samaritans’ who are ready to go above and beyond in saving animals that are in need of help.

Do you still remember when an entire neighborhood joined forces to help a group of ducklings stuck in a grate?

Also, just recently, news about firefighters saving ducklings from a drain went viral and made it to different news channels. This incident often happens to ducklings in particular considering their size.

And this one is no different.

A video shared on social media shows a mama duck that’s obviously in distress and calling the attention of a stranger nearby.

The man was definitely clueless as to why the mama duck was quaking loudly not until he looked down the sewer and saw a group of ducklings.

It then became clear to him that the mama duck wanted him to help her save her babies. He wasted not a single moment and immediately grabbed an electric angle grinder and cut the lock of the sewer’s opening.

Then down he went and slowly but surely brought each duckling to the surface where their mama was patiently waiting.

In no time, the mama duck and her beloved babies were reunited and walked away to safety, hoping that they wouldn’t run into another sewer or hole.
