One of the beautiful things in life is seeing unexpected friendships develop, like this dog and duck for example. In fact, these unexpected friendships happen more often than we think, which goes to show that compassion goes beyond species, whether it’s a human or an animal.
But when an unexpected friendship happens between a human and an animal, that is especially precious.
Emma and Cinnamon the horse have this kind of special friendship. They look past each other’s size, age, and species to see the pure goodness underneath.
On one fine Winter morning, Emma and Cinnamon went on a walk together.
Emma’s father captured the tender moment in the video below. The way Emma stumbles around is so adorable, and Cinnamon’s patience with her is very sweet.
At one point, in Emma’s excitement, she gets the rein tangled in her leg. Her father tells her to untangle herself from the rein while Cinnamon watches over her.
