Chunk the pony lives on a beautiful farm in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. While he may seem like your typical horse, he’s actually got a few tricks up his sleeve…
Most would think that if you put a horse in a stall – it would be there when you return. Well, unless it’s an escape artist like Chunk! The pony figured out how he could set himself free, even after Mom and Dad closed the stall door.
Chunk’s owners turned on a camera to capture his naughty behavior on film. Not only did the video go viral, but it has many people cracking up!
The footage takes place inside the horse stable at Green Hollow Farm. Chunk, who’s their “lesson pony,” had just been brought in to enjoy a nice breakfast. Turns out though, he wasn’t ready to be done playing outside.
A Houdini horse.
At first, Chunk pushes against the stall door to see if it will open. But after it doesn’t – he decides to go OVER the door instead.
Chunk begins by jumping up and getting his front legs through the window. Wait, is he a pony or just a giant Golden Retriever?
A brilliant escape route.
Without any trouble at all, Chunk then easily jumps over the wooden door. Apparently, there’s no holding this guy in – especially when there’s more fun to be had outside.
Okay, so it’s not really a magic trick. However, you gotta admit, that’s one pretty clever pony!

As Chunk escapes, he’s being watched by another horse in a different stall. Hilariously, it’s almost as if it’s confused (or perhaps amazed) by what it’s witnessing!

“HAHA and the horse in the other stable is looking like ‘waaaaah'”

The video of Chunk’s escape was posted online by Green Hollow Farm, and it’s since racked up millions of views. However, it’s not the pony’s ONLY escape…
A mischievous animal with a mind of his own.
Several months later, Chunk’s owners captured another funny escape on film. They titled it, “Chunk the naughty pony part two,” and it went viral as well!
But in this clip, he doesn’t have to jump over the stall door.
Laughter can be heard as Chunk gets out of his horse stall a different way.
This time, Chunk only has to duck down and squeeze under the rubber flap blocking him in. Surely in his head, he’s thinking, “Umm, that was easy!”
According to the Green Hollow Farm Facebook page, they have 23 acres of gorgeous property in Amwell Valley. So, is it really any wonder why Chunk is always trying to head outside to play? He’s like a big kid with a free spirit.
There’s no doubt Chunk is one happy pony.
In another clip, Chunk shows off his lovely smile while getting a taste of iced coffee. Isn’t he adorable? Just look at that face…
It seems like Chunk is keeping his parents on their toes! Hopefully, he doesn’t teach all the other horses his tricks.
