This is Operation Save the animal.
At least that’s what mom called it. For some reason, an animal got trapped in an underground pipe. The little thing was lucky these kids heard him. The heroic little humans exposed the pipe and using a motorized cutter, sliced the pipe across to make a small opening which they then tried to pry open with crowbars.
Put some muscle into it!
The pipe barely opens but the little creature is visible now. Even the kids confirm it.
“I can see it!”
says one.
“Yeah, me too.”
says the other kid.
The kids even have a small debate over whether the animal was brown or black. Get him out so you guys can see it!
The pipe is proving to be one tough thing to crack open. They try kicking it and even using their hands to lift it open. Nothing seems to work though. But the kids are very persistent even telling their mom that she may need to cut the pipe again so they can pull it all the way out.
Out comes the cutter.
Mom makes another opening on the other side of the pipe. It may be noisy but you can make out the kids arguing over who found the lamb first and who gets to carry the poor thing. Lovely accents too.
They go on arguing over who told who while mom uses her hands to open the pipe by removing the part she cut open. Give these kids A for effort. After all, they did find the poor animal.
There it is!
It was warm and wet. The poor animal looked to be inside the pipe for awhile too. The little lamb was shaking while the kids attempted to pull it out. It was probably tired, hungry, and scared all in one. Good job, kids!
Watch the head.
The rescuer pushes the lamb back down a little bit, creating some space so the mammal could free up its head and move. It worked! The little lamb raises its head with a bleat as if to say, thank you.
It’s… well it’s a mixture of black and brown. That’s earth mixed with its natural color so who knows. The lamb must have felt safe now, resting in the arms of the young boy who pulled him out. A bleat here and there is its way of thanking and conversing with the rescuers.
Smile, kids!
The four selfless heroes pose for a photo with their lovely faces all breaking into smiles of relief and victory.
Mom goes,
“Good job, team.”
To which the lamb responds with an emphatic bleat. You’re welcome, mister mutton!
It’s not clear as to how or why the lamb got stuck in that pipe. No one knows how long it’s been there or how it managed to survive but mom and her kids went out of their way to help rescue the defenseless animal which shows their character.
Maybe they even took the lamb home to clean it up and feed it. It would be hard to tell where the lamb came from anyway. All in all, it was a good day for the kids. No lamb chops for dinner!
It was a “baaa”-d day for the lamb but check out the rescue in the video below!
