A lot of people enjoy getting on the floor with their pets to give them cuddles and kisses. Now, typically a dog would be the pet you’d visualize – but in the clip below, a woman shows that some horses can be overly affectionate too.
Dr. Stefanie Stocker is a professional horse trainer from Germany who’s extremely gifted in the field.
She offers instructional services through Showisi, which includes teaching clients how to build a relationship with their horse. But in addition to that – she also has an incredible bond with her own.
Stocker created a video that shows the “mutual trust” she has with her horses.
In it, Stocker is laying on the ground in the middle of a horse pen, and she’s snuggling with her four-legged friends. Amazingly, the two horses are lounging in the dirt as well, looking just like giant canines wanting love from their owner!
One of Stocker’s beautiful horses is sprawled out with his head in her lap, while the other gives kisses.
According to Horses World, she trained them using the five principals – respect, communication, body language, motivation, and trust. It’s easy to see that she’s developed a type of connection with her horses that you don’t necessarily see every day.
Horses are magnificent creatures and can show their humans affection in different ways.
A horse nuzzling you, making a whinnying sound when you arrive, or running towards you when you call out their name are all signs of love, according to I Heart Horses. Another on the list is “kisses,” and there are tons of heartfelt ones in Stocker’s video.

Let’s meet the horses.
Bjorn is an Icelandic horse that came into the world back in 1993. On the Showisi website, Stocker shares that she’s won many champion titles with him. She also says:
“Bjorn is a very versatile horse, whether on the tournament ground, in the field, in front of the carriage, under the saddle, when riding a neck ring, in the circus lessons or simply without everything, he is always happy to be there.”
Menor GPZ is an F1 Aegidienberger stallion and a lot younger than his horse buddy (he was born in 2008).
As for Menor, Stocker explained that he joined the Showisi team in 2012 and it was “love at first sight.” She also said that because of his “great character” he managed to wrap her around his finger.
Stocker grew up in Germany around horses and has made a fantastic career out of her passion.
The internet has been amazed by the strong bond and the amount of trust she has with Bjorn and Menor GPZ. One YouTube viewer named “poltive” interestingly shared:
“Wow, those horses really do trust her completely. Horses are prey animals; they generally rest upright with their legs locked in case they have to run away from danger at a moment’s notice. So when a (healthy) horse lies down, it’s a big deal because it means the horse feels safe enough to relax completely, enough to override its natural instinct to be on guard.”
It’s common for a person to snuggle with their pet on the living room floor. However, it’s quite special seeing the way Stocker is able to do so with her horses, right there in the dirt!
