Reality talent shows are one place where we can find jaw-dropping performances.

For over a decade, we’ve seen the most powerful vocals, musical virtuosos, and out-of-this-world dance performances.

But what captured people’s attention was the increasing showing of magicians. Yes, magic! While we often dismiss it as just tricking the mind (or our eyes), it takes extensive mastery and practice to pull off an outstanding performance in front of the entire world.

And while magic is mesmerizing, this performance showed us that magic could touch us, too!

This contestant on Got Talent Magicians had an extraordinary way of telling a story about her dog named Miracle. The two performed a magic trick that not only did wow the judges but left the room without a single dry eye.

The contestant, Amanda, stepped on the stage with Miracle beside her. She started by asking the hosts, Ant & Dec, to hold Miracle for her.

Then she put the spotlight on the judges and started with Simon Cowell.

She knew Simon loved dogs, so she let him shuffle 40 cards with photos of each of her dogs at home. She told him to divide it into four uneven decks and get one from each deck.

Then, she asked Simon to get one card that he took from the deck and pass it on to Amanda, Alesha, and David. Each judge held a card that they had to hide from Amanda.

Amanda showed them a video of Miracle’s story – and this is where you need some tissues.

Miracle was rescued from an illegal meat trade, and they found him in unfortunate and unimaginable conditions. The moment they flashed a photo of him when they saw him, the tears started falling in the entire auditorium.

The video went on to explain how he got his name. The rescuer thought he was already dead, but when they took a photo of him, and the camera flashed, he opened an eye. It was a miracle that he was still alive.

They brought him to Scotland and took care of him.

He recuperated until he was 100% healthy and well. That’s how it started for Amanda, Miracle, and their entire family. They rescued 19 more dogs out of the 40 they had at home. The video stopped, and it was time for some magic.

She also showed them a video they recorded a few moments before the show wherein Amanda asked Miracle which four of the forty dogs they should bring to the show.

Then, she instructed the judges to reveal the photos of the dogs they got.

They got Braveheart, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, and Jean Harlow. Then, it’s time for the grand reveal. Amanda asked Miracle to introduce his siblings to the judges and the crowd.

Miracle went to a makeshift doghouse in the background and unlocked the door.

Out came four dogs! And, yes, they were the same four dogs as the judges got from the deck of cards! The people were amazed by this.

But what people applauded for even more was how Amanda used her talent to raise awareness against animal cruelty, especially in the dog meat trade.
