Admit it. You used to pretend being sick just so you could avoid school or some boring family reunion. Or even act injured to avoid being picked on a team for a game.
It’s happened to all of us. Not everyone is comfortable or confident and that’s just fine.
But who knew that even our four legged friends were the same?
This dog named Harry certainly knew how to play hurt when his owner began looking for him.
He pretends to limp, raising his front right paw as he makes his way over to his human.
Now all his human needed to say was that he couldn’t go for a walk with a bad leg. Err paw.
So what’s a good boy like him to do in that situation?
The dog goes over to the couch and grabs his leash, and… it’s a miracle!

What’s even more surprising is that dogs have been known to pretend being hurt.
Chances are it’s because of their human though.
Your dog probably hurt their paw one time when you were both out on a walk. The dog could have stepped on a rock, so he winced and began to limp.
So you rush over, making a fuss as you care for your dog with all the love and affection in the world.
Here’s the funny part. The dog is going to learn. Injuring a body part is going to get them excessive amounts of attention and special treatment.
