If there’s one thing that there’s an abundance of on the internet, it has got to be funny cat and dog pictures. Puppies and kittens, it doesn’t really get more adorable than that.
But there’s other animals who compete for the cutest pics around.
This absolutely adorable squirrel who listens to the name Jill is one of them.
Jill was rescued by her current owners from Hurricane Isaac.
Hurricane Isaac struck as a tropical cyclone in Louisiana and was at its height during August of that year. There was billions worth of damages and, unfortunately, 41 people also lost their lives during the natural disaster.
With the wind speeds reaching 80 miles per hour, it was pure chaos to walk outside, and plenty of animals were shocked and in panic, including Jill.

In some states, it’s illegal to keep a squirrel as a pet, and despite their cuteness, they’re not exactly ideal pets either.
They have the tendency to bite and chew on everything, but ever since Jill was rescued, she felt right at home and has been an absolute joy to be around.
The squirrel’s rescue managed to garner some attention on the internet, and Jill has been working on being somewhat of an online influencer ever since.
Now, she’s known as THIS_GIRL_IS_A_SQUIRREL.
She is probably one of the most popular squirrels on Instagram with over 727,000 followers!
“8-year-old Hurricane Isaac rescue. Vegetarian, parkour expert whose only fear is the vacuum. But, she loves every Starbucks napkin she meets,” her Instagram bio reads.
Jill is well on her way to reach one million followers, and she even has a loyal and devoted fanbase!
Aside from the world wide web, you can also spot Jill on t-shirts and hoodies that were designed and created by Bonfire, a custom garment company.
One of Jill’s favorite activities is napping.
However, she can only snooze if she has her tiny teddy.
What an immensely sweet and precious sight!
Of course, she has quite the collection of blankets to nap with and switches things up regularly, but she wouldn’t want to miss her fluffy best friend, the tiny teddy bear.

It didn’t take long before the whole internet fell in love with this cute squirrel and her hilarious antics.
According to Jill’s owners, this playful squirrel won’t even fall asleep without her teddy bear tucked in next to her. And aside from making her fall asleep more easily, the tiny stuffed animal certainly makes for incredible photos on Instagram too.
Jill is very serious about keeping her followers entertained.
