Dogs are truly wonderful animals, they are silly and sweet and want nothing more than to love and be loved.

Getting a dog, however, is a big responsibility and should not be taken lightly.

There are about 3 million dogs who are sent to live in animal shelters each year, and about 1.3 million of those will end up being euthanized.

In many of the cases, there is nothing wrong with these dogs, there is just not enough space to care for them all, and some of them end up euthanized to create more space for other animals.

One Ohio man, Joe Kay, is determined to rescue as many of these dogs as he can.

Joe rescues dogs from puppy mills, the streets, and he saves the dogs that are on the to-be-euthanized lists at other shelters.

He knows these dogs just need a chance and that they will end up being the perfect addition to someone’s family.

After rescuing the dogs, Joe spends time with them to calm them, and as soon as he thinks they are ready, they are put up for adoption.

Joe recently began to record the dogs’ reactions at being told they are going to be adopted and posting them on his TikTok page.

His account has over 4 million followers, and over 140 million likes.

His most popular videos are those of dogs going a little crazy, in a good happy way, when they find out they are going to be adopted.

Joe fills out the little card that shows that the dog has been put on hold for someone to pick up the next day, and films himself walking up to the dog and telling them what’s going on.

He greets all the dogs in a calm but excited fashion and, while each dog reacts differently, they almost all pick up on his excitement and start to get excited too.

Some bark happily and wag their tales, while others wiggle their whole body in excitement, and some take everything in very calmly.

After all the adoption paperwork is filled out and the humans are ready to take home their new best friends, Joe goes to get the dogs ready.

He tells them what is happening as he slides on their new collars and leashes, and escorts them out to their new owners.

The dogs mostly all seem to know what is going on, that they will be going to their new forever homes, and that these people love them.

The happiness on both the dogs and the new owners’ faces is what Joe says he loves most about his job.

Watching a pup that may have had a rough start to life, come out of their shells to charm people and to give and accept love makes the hard parts of the job well worth it to him.

Joe can’t wait to share even more videos of these sweet animals hearing the best news of their little lives, and going off with their new families.
