After a shelter posted Rosie’s ad, two girls fell in love with the dog completely. MacKenna and Kerrigan kept asking their mom to help Rosie. The girls wanted to save her so badly.
Toni, the mother, kept quiet. She had a huge surprise planned for her daughters. The next time girls went online, it said that Rosie was no longer available. Kerrigan thought that the shelter had euthanized Rosie, and she was inconsolable.
Little did the girls know that Rosie was on a plane to meet them.
Yes, that’s right. Toni and her husband Stephen adopted Rosie without telling anyone. When the plane landed, she went to pick up the dog.
The girls still didn’t know what was going on.
Their mom got the dog, and you can imagine the girls’ shock when they saw who was about to come and live with them. The little ladies are completely overwhelmed with the fact that Rosie was now their dog. Naturally, the younger daughter started crying, as she couldn’t believe that the precious doggie was safe.
Poor Rosie lost her family as a result of her owners’ divorce.
When Rosie’s previous parents divorced, Rosie stayed with a young mother who had already had two children, and she simply couldn’t take care of the dog. Luckily, Rosie won over so many hearts as soon as her photo was posted on the shelter’s website, and her saviors quickly appeared.
The family now posts regularly about their life with Rosie on an Instagram profile. More than 20k followers love seeing Rosie’s most recent adventures.
Because there were so many speculations about Rosie’s breed, the family tested her DNA.
When the results came in, everyone found out that Rosie is an Akbash dog. If you aren’t familiar with the breed, allow us to explain that Akbash is a rare, purebred dog that has some of the best qualities you could ask for. Isn’t it lovely? The family saved the dog’s life and got an intelligent, loyal, and alert puppy in return.
Mom Tony says that Rosie’s been great with the girls from day one, and she also gets along with her puppy brother named Ziggy.
It seems to us that Rosie is now the happiest dog.
“The best part about having Rosie is everything. I can’t imagine our lives without her,” says Toni’s daughter.
Amazingly, the girls bonded with Rosie in a blink of an eye, and they do everything with her.

Rosie sleeps in their bed, she’s always around when girls do their homework, and they constantly play with her. We are more than happy to see Rosie living her best life.
