When you see someone else partying and having fun, there is something inside all of us that wants to join them. Maybe it’s just FOMO (fear of missing out), but we all get that urge to join people who look like they’re having more fun than we are!
That internal urge is probably what makes line dancing so fun.
If you’ve never been line dancing before – you are missing out! Essentially:
Line dancing is a form of dance that takes place with a group of people. Participants line up in rows and execute the same movements in a synchronized manner. – Wikipedia
All that to say, if you see a group of people line dancing, you definitely need to join them.
In fact, that compulsion to dance may not be unique to just humans!
Horses seem to love dancing, too! There are countless videos on the internet of horses getting down and groovy with some tunes and people can’t seem to get enough of them. Maybe it’s the fact that humans don’t have to feel alone in our dancing, but we love watching animals react to music as we do!
In a recent example, we see a group of horses line dancing with their riders.
Super Bowls are always massive events and Super Bowl LI was no different. Usually, there are large events that happen around the stadium while the game goes on. Think Tailgating but kicked up a notch. ZZ Top was performing to an at-capacity crowd at one of these surplus events in a nearby park called Discovery Green when the horses came out.
Nearby police officers were riding around on their mounts, making sure things were all ok.
As ZZ Top played, the horses decided they had enough of watching and wanted to join in on the action. The seven mounted officers of the Houston Mounted Patrol all got into an orderly line and started their own dance routine!
The Houston Mounted Patrol members moved right, left, back, and forward to the cheers of the crowd in a parking lot. The center officer raises his arms triumphantly at the end. On Sunday morning, they posted the video to Facebook. – Chron
