Do you know anyone who does not love sushi?
I bet you would have a hard time recalling their names because guess what? Everyone simply loves sushi.
Sushi is best served when the fish is fresh. It becomes irresistible and you simply can’t get enough!
Apparently, people are not the only ones crazy about sushi or fresh fish. Penguins are, too!
In one particular sushi shop in New Zealand, the fish must taste so good that two penguins would risk going back to the shop even after police already removed them from the place once.
Yes, these two waddling penguins are too crazy about the fish in Sushi B that they decided to go back and steal some of it despite the dangers of being caught again.
The sushi shop’s security camera captured footage of the penguins as they try to accomplish their mission.
Earlier that day, the two blue penguins were already caught as they were nesting beneath the establishment. Clearly, these two are up to no good so the shop called the authorities so they can handle the penguins and have them removed from the premises.
Who knows what these tiny animals would do, right? And with a lot of fresh fish on-site, the shop simply can’t allow the birds to stay.
After having the penguins removed from the shop, the owners probably thought that the issue was resolved but they were so wrong.
On the evening of that same date, the waddling thieves set out to do what they came for that morning. The penguins crossed four lanes of busy traffic outside just to get to where they wanted to be: back to Sushi B.
Their perilous journey was all for their beloved fish, and they were intent on completing their goal. And so, the Penguins did their best to get back to Sushi B and stayed inside to grab some fresh dinner.
Just like any criminal, the two little kororā showed everyone that there are not afraid of the police at all.
Despite being removed from the shop that morning, they never gave up and tried again to get food at night time. But, of course, the owners won’t let the intruders win.
While the penguins were busy looking for their fish, one employee in the shop heard the commotion they were making. And as it turned out, the penguins were back again underneath the shop where it is warm.
The authorities took the penguins away for a second time.
Now, these are truly adventurous and goal-driven animals. Can you imagine what they went through just to get what they wanted?
Eventually, the Department of Conservation was called to take the adorable but truly stubborn birds.
