Mom Discovers Parrot’s Funny Shopping List On Alexa
I laughed too listening to Alexa read off the items.

What happens when animals come in contact with human electronics?

What about smart speakers?

One particular parrot by the name of Bibi just had one of the greatest smart speaker interactions you’ll ever know.

That’s not an exaggeration. What you’re about to hear is high comedy.

What’s up, Alexa?

One day, Bibi the Bird’s human companion noticed something weird with their smart speaker.

“Alexa, read my shopping list.”

The speaker lights up. You just know this isn’t going to be a normal list…

“You have 19 items on your shopping list.”

Weird… Nobody in the house has ever added to the device’s shopping list.

Nobody human, at least…

Alexa begins to read the contents of the shopping list.

“Here are the five most recent:

Poetry

Strawberries

Strawberries

Strawberries

Strawberries

Would you like to hear the next five items?”

Poetry. Yes, poetry.

Whoever made this list loves strawberries and art. Kicking back and reading poetry and eating strawberries sounds like a pretty good deal.

But I wonder who could have made such a ridiculous, repetitive list?

Nobody’s pointing any fingers Bibi… but you don’t exactly look innocent!

Bibi doesn’t care though… anything for more strawberries.

And maybe Bibi the Bird’s just a huge Robert Frost fan.

Bibi’s human friend wants to keep going, responding to Alexa’s last question.

“Yes, please.”

This next one’s a doozy.

Just when we thought that things couldn’t get any more ridiculous…

“Strawberry Yogurt

Easy Water

Jeans

Harry

Big Tofu”

Not just any type of tofu.

Bibi wants big tofu.

The bigger the better, Bibi always says.

Speaking of Bibi, some species of bird have incredible vocal capabilities.

Many birds, parrots included, are master imitators.

Some species can imitate incredibly complex sounds. Their vocal ranges are something else.

Plus, some of them look spectacular!

Bibi’s friend turns the camera back at the bird.

Bibi looks back, unrelenting.

And?!

Bibi’s clearly the culprit, but the bird definitely doesn’t care that we know.

I’m actually kind of intimidated right now.

That eye indicates a bird that’s not to be trifled with…

As stated, the humans in the house have never intentionally created a shopping list through Alexa.

Although they didn’t catch Bibi in real-time, they didn’t exactly have to!

I guess we can’t be 100% certain that Bibi did it, but all signs are looking that way.

But Bibi surely just wanted to pick up some food for the week, right?

Alexa continues. There’s more…

This list isn’t over just yet!

“Do you want to hear your last four items?”

Why yes, yes we do!

The video ends in the most sincere way imaginable.

Bibi’s friend bursts out laughing before the footage cuts completely.

It’s impossible not to smile at that absurd shopping list. Highlights include “poetry,” unlimited “strawberries,” and “jeans.”

One viewer commented:

“I don’t often laugh out loud when I’m alone, but this video had me crying.”

So what do you think of Bibi’s shopping list? I guess Bibi’s innocent until truly proven guilty, but that’s quite the suspicious order.
