This little guy may be paralyzed, but that won't stop him from being there for other animals!

Anyone who owns a cat knows that despite their occasional bad moods (or, ahem, cattitude) these animals are actually incredibly caring and compassionate.

Cats are loving, sweet, and affectionate pets that tend to show their love in their own special way.

In fact, a cat’s compassion is so much that they’re even willing to help other animals during their times of need.

Meet Lucifer, or, as he’s known in his hometown of Perm, Russia, Lucic. He lives in the Fang and Veterinary Clinic on Gagarin Boulevard after he was rescued by them in 2013, back when he was still a tiny kitten.

The poor little guy was found outside the veterinary center with a severely damaged spine. He was in such a bad way that he couldn’t even move his little paws.

The doctors wanted to fix Lucifer’s spine so that he could be put up for adoption, but sadly, he never fully recovered.

Lucifer’s back legs were paralyzed because of the damage to his spine, but that didn’t diminish his spirits!

In fact, whilst living in the veterinary center — which opened fifteen years ago and treats dogs, cats, and ferrets — Lucifer became determined to help other sick animals so that they wouldn’t feel so alone during hard times.

In a post that is written by Lucifer’s owners on the clinic’s website, Lucifer explains,

“Often, seriously ill patients come to us, and I support them morally, explain that injections are not scary, tell my story that I could not be without doctors, check if the patients are warm in the hospital, and also I am an honorary donor.

Lucifer is a very sociable cat, and he makes sure that he visits each and every sick animal in the center — even the biggest and scariest-looking dogs. What an amazing kitty!

He continues,

“I have saved more than one life with my blood.”

To be precise, Lucifer has donated blood eight times. He truly is an adorable little miracle.

It certainly seems as if Lucifer has an important role within the clinic. The fact that he is there to look after all of the other sick animals just melts our hearts. He truly is a caring kitty.

But, like other cats, Lucifer isn’t without the occasional cattitude.

On his blog, he remarks,

“Sometimes I bite and scratch, but I purr more often.”

Well, everyone has their bad days!

But how does he get about now that he is paralyzed? Well, Lucifer has a hilarious answer for that!

“To be honest, I can walk, but sometimes I’m just too lazy (just don’t tell anyone about this, let it be our little secret, otherwise my family in bathrobes will stop carrying me in my arms).”

We don’t blame the little guy for milking it! He truly is a blessing to all those at Fang and Veterinary Clinic, and it just goes to show that having a disability doesn’t stop you from sharing the love.
