There is never a time when we get sick of cuddling with our pets, and sometimes we get the urge to disturb them in the middle of their playtime or their sweet afternoon naps just to shower them with our affection. Some pets will just let their owners do what they want, but others will also get annoyed, just like this particular pooch in the video.
This is too many cuddles for one dog to handle.
One peaceful day, an enormous Alaskan Malamute named Pooh was spending a peaceful time laying on the sofa. However, his peace was disrupted when his owner came into the room and sat beside him. He was hoping to doze into dreamland but it became impossible as his owner rolled him over and started baby talking him, then scratching his chest and belly.
Pooh tried to struggle away from his owner’s clutches, but the man hugged him tighter, thus making it harder for him to get away. Furthermore, the man began smooching Pooh on the cheeks and he kept doing it until the giant pooch just cannot take it anymore.
The annoyed doggo versus a shower of kisses.
Pooh became annoyed by the fact that his owner for barging in and not respecting his personal space. Thus, he started growling at him, as if telling him that he does not need any more kisses. However, the owner found the grumpy pooch much cuter that he continued to tease him with more cuddles.
Despite being annoyed, the pooch could only growl and look subtly at his owner waiting for when his owner’s face would dive into his chubby cheeks again. Moreover, it was hilarious when Pooh tries to anticipate the kisses with his owner’s voice when baby talking.
Our dogs always love our cuddles no matter what.
Even though Pooh was getting a relentless array of smooches, he would only lightly protest but never attack his owner because of it. As a matter of fact, it seemed that Pooh secretly loves the attention that he was having. He just growls to hide the fact that he loves them. That just shows how strong the bond between him and his owner. Hopefully, Pooh got his long-awaited nap in the end.
The clip was uploaded on YouTube and impressively got 4.7 million views.
Pooh’s owners set up a YouTube channel for him containing all his silly adventures with them, including this 50-second clip of him being tortured with love. The three-year-old video got so much attention from the internet that they decided on recording another video just like this. The video was fresh but Pooh’s reaction to the kisses remained to be priceless.
We are all probably guilty of doing this to our dogs.
We cannot resist the tempting fluffiness of our dog’s fur and therefore attempts to do things like resting our heads on their belly or just giving them a lot of smooches just as what was done with Pooh in the video. However, as one YouTube commenter pointed out, if Pooh was really annoyed, he would have left:
“if he really didn’t like it he’d leave, he’s enjoying the game. he know’s hes loved.”
