Waking up to the cries of an animal is not something we encounter every day. Although, this guy woke up to the sound of a bawling deer, hoping for someone to get him out of an unfortunate situation. This is what this man did prior to this rare encounter.
These woodland creatures may be peaceful, but they sometimes give us a bit of trouble.
Deer are pretty common in some places around the US and the UK. They usually could be found roaming around the woods, or they might even appear in less human-populated areas. There are also times when people could get a closer look at these creatures after they were found invading their yard.
Although they do come without malice, these trouble-making deer could cause some nuisance, as they are capable of destroying your yard. Because of their curiosity, they also get themselves stuck in sticky situations, just like this one deer that was found stuck in a fence.
A white-tailed deer was found crying outside.
White-tailed deer are a common deer species that could usually be found in the North American regions. One day, this guy, living in a wide and peaceful area, woke up to the cries of an animal.
When he rushed out to find the origin of the sound, he found a white-tailed doe with its hoof unusually stuck on the upper part of the fence It probably hurts her so much as gravity pulls her body downwards and the poor deer could not do anything about it but just hang around on the side of the fence.
It was hard but the man tried his best to get the poor doe out.
It was a wonder how the doe got itself in such a sticky situation. Most probably, it was a failed jump where one of her hooves, unfortunately, slipped into the tight gaps of the wooden fence.
At first attempt, the guy stood safely behind the fence just in case he might get hurt when the doe struggles and then tried pulling the doe’s hoof upwards. However, it was too tight and heavy for him, and it only ended up with the poor deer wailing with pain.
With the first failed attempt, the man came up with a better solution.
He came back on the side of the fence where the deer was hanging and tried to think of another way to solve this tricky puzzle.
The man put down his phone with its camera pointing towards them, then slowly approached the deer in the back. Only this time, he tried breaking the fence to open the way to get the stuck hoof out. Surprisingly, the deer never tried to struggle and was instead just hanging on the fence with the hopes of getting out.
She might have understood that he was trying to help her. Finally, the plank broke, and the deer dropped down on the ground. The doe ran as fast as she could back to her home.

The clip went viral after The Dodo featured it in one of their videos in 2017. As of now, the clip has over 9 million views with more people coming across it every day. Thanks to this kind man, he was able to save an innocent deer life.
