It’s heartbreaking to see animals who were left lost and abandoned on the streets. Luckily, a few kindhearted people extend their hands to these poor pets and give them a new home.
This person has been rescuing stray cats and dogs in his neighborhood.
Living in a small village in North Africa, this selfless person has been adopting homeless pups and kittens left and right. Everyone in the village is living under a warm climate for most of the year, which means an almost never-ending cycle of strays breeding in their neighborhood.
The rescuer stated that there are no veterinary hospitals and shelters in the village, which means most of these animals end up having no proper homes. Given the situation, it is hard enough for the people to control the population growth of these animals. However, this man proved that it is not impossible to save these animals.
It’s unknown when this man actually started rescuing strays in his village, but it was ten months ago when he started uploading his rescue stories on his YouTube channel, Kitten is a Life. Currently, the channel has over 161 uploaded videos with an accumulated view count of more than 23 million.
He received a call from someone about an abandoned pup, and this is what he found after he went to the location.
In May 2020, Kitten is a Life received another call for help from someone in their neighborhood. It was about a single puppy that was said to be screaming outside on the streets. As he rushed to the scene, he saw the most heartbreaking sight of the young puppy who could barely stand, wailing alone as if the pup was looking for her parent.
He approached the puppy slowly and tried to stop her from crying. The puppy immediately felt comfortable with the man’s presence, which made it easy for the man to take her back home.
The pup quickly drank a bowlful of warm milk.
The moment they reached home, the man gave the pup a bowl of fresh and warm milk. It was clear enough that the puppy was starving as she gulped down the milk even though she still was not used to drinking from the bowl. As the puppy continued drinking, some curious cats came to check on her from afar. Some cats also came directly to greet her after she was done with the milk. Although, one kitten still was not used to the new pup’s presence in the house.

The man’s home was full of rescued cats and puppies. Now that this certain puppy is one of them, we would expect her to live a happy life after being given a warm welcome to the family. Surely, this puppy will be able to live harmoniously with the other orphans.
