“The love of a mother is a universal phenomenon and the strongest emotion any being can experience.”
This was a comment made by a woman about a viral video that was posted by Love Furry Friends, a YouTube channel that aims to rescue abandoned and homeless animals.
The said clip was about the touching reunion of a stray dog and her puppies.
This family of dogs is just among the stray dogs the rescue group has saved.
They initially spotted the four puppies, living in an industrial area in Ukraine. They were starving and had no proper shelter to keep them warm.
The organization didn’t hesitate to rescue them and even took them home to provide them with the attention they needed.
As they noticed that the pups were not with their mother, they made sure to ask the locals to let them know as soon as they saw the dog’s mother.
Love Furry Friends knew where to bring the pups first things first.
They brought them to the veterinarian to check their condition. Right after that, they headed home, and the puppies finally experience staying at a comfortable place.
They have a bed where they can sleep and cuddle with each other. They were also provided with toys and a nice space where they can play.
The special moment.
Eventually, someone informed the helpful group of the mommy dog’s whereabouts. The group didn’t waste any moment and immediately went to the area where the people spotted the poor canine.
At first, the mama dog was aloof.
It shows that she was not in a good condition. Additionally, it is obvious that she was looking for something, which was probably her children.
It seemed like she had been caught by city workers who perform spaying and neutering surgeries. The mama dog had a fresh spay scar and an ear tag when she was found.
Without hesitation, Love Furry Friends took the mother dog home so she could be with her pups.
They immediately took her to the vet, just like what they did to her babies. She was diagnosed with demodicosis, and her rescuers made sure she could begin receiving treatment.
They also named the precious dog “Alica.”
“She is not going to live on the street anymore.”
Her rescuers gave her this assurance and even took off her ear tag. It’s just a relief knowing that she has already found people who will look after her while waiting for someone to adopt her and her babies.
The heartwarming reunion
As soon as the door was opened and Alica finally saw her babies, she immediately rushed toward them. She wasted no time in offering them kisses to show them how much she loved and missed them.
It was really heartwarming to see them all lay on the bed together.
The babies excitedly latched themselves to their mom.
The mommy dog couldn’t contain her happiness. She was smiling from ear to ear.
Their rescuers give these dogs all the time to bond and spend quality time together.
What they need right now is a loving family who will bring them home and adopt them wholeheartedly.
