Of all the carefree animal babies in the world, bear cubs may be the most playful! They love to have fun and play around in whatever environment they find themselves in. They are probably able to be so carefree since they know mama is watching their back and most other animals don’t want to tussle with a bear.
The bear cub antics that have been caught on camera are hilarious, to say the least.
From all across the world, bear cubs have been seen playing and getting in trouble in every way possible. Whether it’s digging around in a trash can or rolling around in a grassy meadow, the little furballs are always one step away from their own adventures.
With this in mind, it makes sense this bear family was caught on camera playing on a swing set!
Asheville, North Carolina is known for its trout fishing, breweries, and bears! Located in the Appalachian mountains, there is a fair amount of bear sightings that happen each year. In the small city of 90,000, there are about 100-200 bears that live there year-round. One family in the hipster city learned this lesson recently.
One family of black bears thought that they needed a break from the forest and wanted to swing a bit.
Captured on camera, this family of bears acted like children that were on recess!
“This was taken in our backyard. It is supposedly a mom and five cubs, two of which are suspected to be adopted from a different litter,”
There was a mama bear and five cubs. After some professionals reviewed the footage, it looks like this is a mixed family! The mama bear probably birthed three of the cubs but the other two are adopted. Seems that the whole family gets along together rather well still.
You haven’t seen joy if you don’t watch these bears play on the playground.
We all remember the feeling when the bell ran at school signaling that it was time for recess! The joy and knowledge that you would have 30 minutes of uninterrupted fun was almost too much to handle. Well, you would think that these cubs knew all about that from the way they play on this swing set. They look like professionals!
Sliding down the slide, wrestling, and swinging, these bears had been here before.
The five little cubs took full advantage of the facilities that the playground offered. From a moment’s watch, you can immediately see that these little ones weren’t inexperienced when it came to this playground. I mean, who has ever seen a bear cub that knows how to swing?
The mama just sits and watches for most of the time.
Who can blame this mama bear for wanting a bit of peace to collect her thoughts? Five bear cubs running around her constantly is probably pretty exhausting. It seems that she knew this location would offer free babysitting (bearsitting?) for a while so she could relax.
Black bears are incredibly skittish and you really don’t have to worry about them hurting you.
While black bears have the strength of a few men under their fur, they rarely use it to its full extent. They are usually gone as soon as they realize a human is around. Also, they apparently like pools!
