A family of bears in Asheville, North Carolina were recorded during their little day out on a playground.
What makes it even more hilarious is the fact that the mama bear is just sitting there watching her cubs go about and play, like she planned this trip all along, giving her “kids” a few minutes of playtime.
Five adorable bear cubs try to make their way up the slide, get on the swing, and climb all over the the wooden structure obviously enjoying themselves.
Hey, they need to burn off all that energy.
Just look at mama bear enjoying her quiet time in the sun. All you moms out there can relate what with an entire place dedicated to allowing little ones run around and scream.
Even the viewers knew it.
‘I love how the mom is sitting on the side like “ y’all can play for a few minutes then we have to go home we have things to do “ says Tori Walthers.
Robert Rose commented, “I can understand a mom wanting to take all these kids to the playground and have a break!”
Mama bear does have a tracking collar. Where’s dad?
Those cubs just have tons of energy and it is evident with the way they scurry about just having their fun at the playground. It’s super cute from a distance.
Get to close though and mama comes charging.
Bears are pretty smart animals. An acute eyesight and sense of hearing along with their sense of smell that is seven times greater than a bloodhound’s allow them to find food even in public places.
They really have a keen ability to detect food whether in garbage, from barbecue grills or even bird feeders. And once they find food, they will keep coming back to the area.
Bears are usually wary of humans but once a bear gets used to a spot where there’s always food, the animal can get used to the presence of humans. And things can get ugly.
These bears don’t seem to pose any threats.
And the playground is in someone’s backyard. The person filming the amusing moment does the right thing by keeping a considerable distance. Let the bears play under the sun!
It is just amazing to see how these bears and us humans have something in common.
One cub does manage to make its way up the slide before coming back down on its belly. His siblings meanwhile are still trying to figure out the swings. They’ll get it soon enough.
As cute and as fluffy as these bears are, the family who owns the place may need to clean the playground after. No one knows if one of those cubs left a little surprise while playing.
But just imagine if these bears end up becoming friends with the family.
Adopting a bear family as friends? You bet!
That playground may serve a purpose after all!
