We all love our pets. Some of us discovered out big hearts when we got our first pet, and others learned it just from watching Animal Planet as a kid! Kids who love animals are always getting themselves into trouble with their parents, often through bringing strange creatures into the home. While some kids bring frogs and lizards, this girl brought something a bit…bigger.
This little girl brought a cow into the house!
When I was a kid, frogs and bugs were often a companion of mine. I would oft get into trouble trying to show off my newest catch. One of the coolest animals I ever brought in was a baby squirrel that was abandoned that we rehabilitated. Something I never brought into the house, though, was a cow!
Caught on video, this cute girl decided that the cow needed to come inside!
The funny little story opens up with a slightly upset mom (who is mostly amused) asking how the family cow ended up in the house.
The girl jubilantly describes the process of how the cow got into the house!
We can only guess that the little girl decided to let the baby cow in. We can see that the calf and the family dog are having a grand ol’ time in the family’s home!
As the mom tries to ask why she let the cow in the home, the little girl keeps making up stories.
You can see the little girl trying to outsmart her mom by making up some stories for how the cow got into the home! It is a hilarious encounter. They go back and forth as the mom tells the girl to stop “fibbing.”
Walking over to the cow, the girl notices that there is a small cut on its leg.
Once she sees the cut, she is obviously distraught. This girl really loves her cow! She asks her mom for help as she chuckles about how it’s just a small cut.
The girl is not happy about the cut and decides to sit on the floor with the calf.
The mom knows how the cow got cut. It was a snowy day, and the ice scratched the cow as it was walking around. We may have found the motive for the little girl letting the large animal in the home!
Wanting to take care of the “injured” animal, the girl lays down and snuggles the cow.
You can see how much this girl cares for the animal. As she sits down, the cow places its head in her lap and completes the already cute scene! The mom can’t help but laugh at the situation.
This is one precious duo.
With the mystery of the indoor cow partially solved, the special moment is one that was caught on video. Wanting to send the video to her dad, the little girl is happy to be snuggled up with such a large animal.
The mom watched the scene and the intelligence that the animal is expressing. As she sees the baby cow sit in happiness with her new friend, she says:
“I think that this may get me to stop eating beef.”
We can understand where she is coming from as she recognizes how smart this animal is!
