Sophie was immensely scared, but her cat Tiger literally jumped in front her which didn’t scare away the angry pit bulls, but it did serve as a good distraction which allowed Sophie to get back into her house safely. If it weren’t for her cat, Tiger, Sophia might not have made it out alive.

She was worried sick when she was outside because she wasn’t sure if Tiger made it out alive. Sophie cleaned her wounds as she waited for Tiger to return.

Luckily, the brave little kitten made it out alive.

Here is how she recounted the story:

“All of a sudden these four pitbulls came marching in and they surrounded me. They kept going around and around. One of them kind of lunged for me and I hit him on the head and he backed off. Then another came towards me and I was scared stiff. I gave him a wack. All of a sudden, my cat jumped in the middle of it,” Sophie said to UpNorthLive.

“I do not know what would have happened if my cat hadn’t jumped in. She’s very close to me and follows me around. She’s very friendly with me because I live alone.”

“I always thank God that my cat came because she was the one that really helped me out.”

The owner of the dogs, Ann Daniels, felt terrible about the whole incident. Ann’s home has a broken window which is why her dogs were allowed to escape, and that they usually aren’t violent.

“My son didn’t shut the bedroom door and they went out the window. I feel terrible.”

Luckily, both Sophie and Tiger were completely fine and the woman was only grazed. What a brave little kitten!

People on the internet even praised Tiger for his bravery.
