This adorable tiny kitten Stinkie was in need of some much-needed attention and love, especially because this cat’s mother never really cared for her that much. At the time, this feline weighed just under 0.2 pounds and fit perfectly in the palm of someone’s hand.
Sooner rather than later, this kitten would become best friends with his new human family.
Bogdan’s girlfriend first noticed this tiny feline and she offered to take Stinkie in. However, Bogdan himself would take care of her for a while because his girlfriend was temporarily out of the country.
“My girlfriend took her in and when she had to leave the country for a few weeks, I took care of Stinkie,” the man said to Love Meow.
Bogdan’s furry little friend never wanted to leave his owner’s side and the two did almost everything together.
“We nicknamed her Stinkie because she stank quite badly. Being the runt of the litter, her mom hadn’t cleaned her at all or showed her how to do it.”
Stinkie quickly managed to steal a permanent spot on Bogdan’s shoulder, and it’s definitely a sight to behold.
Every time Bogdan went anywhere, the small and adorable Stinkie would join him by sitting calmly on his shoulder. Some of these pictures are just too adorable!
Slowly but surely, the tiny little furry ball full of energy grew larger. She still wasn’t the largest cat around, but her strong personality and spirit definitely made up for it.
“We were supposed to give her food via syringes but soon she started eating on her own,” Bogdan told.
The relationship Stinkie and her foster dad Bogdan had formed was unbreakable – if you saw Bogdan, Stinkie was most definitely around and vice versa.
Bogdan also wanted to take his feline best friend on a couple of adventures with him and decided to take her to a few cool places outdoors.
“I took her out on a leash to parks in New York or Philly, on quick short walks on the streets of New York or Philadelphia, on subways, buses or trains to and from Philly. She quickly became very used to the outdoors,” he said.
Whether it’s a little trip down the street, waiting in line at the coffee bar, riding the subway or spending some time with other human friends, Bogdan and Stinkie are always having the time of their lives.
“She is always either in front of me on the floor staring at me or falling asleep somewhere near. When I go to sleep, she climbs up next to me in bed as soon as I turn the lights off,” Bogan mentioned.
“During the night, she wakes me up, almost every night, when she starts licking my nose, my ears, my face, and almost any part of my body that is not covered by the sheets.”
