Some of our fur friends from the animal kingdom are also born with the skills and passion to help humans serve justice and offer security. That is why K-9s are included in the police force because two heads are better than one, but this time with four paws and a fluffy tail.

A police dog is a canine that is specifically trained to assist the police and other law-enforcement personnel in searching for drugs and explosives, locating missing people, finding crime scene evidence, and attacking people targeted by the police. And the most common breed that is best suited for the job is none other than the German shepherd. But what makes them stand out?

From the dog’s temperament to its strength and stamina, the German shepherd dog makes an excellent working dog. German Shepherds are also calm under pressure, they are highly intelligent and trainable, and they love to work. This makes the breed well-suited for working in stressful situations.

Meet Maxx, the modern superhero of Florida.

Not all superheroes wear capes. Some of them are big balls of fur who have a keen sense of justice and responsibility. Just like Maxx, a former K-9 unit who is happily spending his retirement in their home in Longwood, Florida.

However, a fire tries to burn their home to ashes jeopardizing his family. But worry not because mighty Maxx is here to save the day.

A neighbor lent a hand in getting inside the house by breaking one of the windows. They found Margo Feaser first, who frantically ran back to her house to get her husband and two kids. However, given how grave the situation is, they had to restrain her and the other team focused on rescuing the rest of her kin.

Despite being a retired police dog, Maxx shows that he is still up and running.
