Award-winning New York equine photographer Tracey Buyce had a sweet moment with one of her modeling subjects during a shoot in Sardes Morgans in Rhode Island.

She thought the moment was so adorable that she posted it online.

Apparently, the whole world agreed because her video ended up going viral and was seen around the world.

The video shows her sprawled out in the grass with a 12-day-old chestnut horse named Ginger in order to capture “the connection between a rider and her horse,” Daily Mail reports. The tiny little horse is fast asleep snuggling Buyce with her mouth wide open and her front leg slung over her.

“Modeling is hard work,” her videos caption reads.

Ginger is a foal, not to be confused with a pony. Foals are horses that are younger than a year, while ponies are horses that are under 148 centimeters in height and have long legs and small bodies that make their heads look large.

Buyce is seen tenderly caressing the horse’s leg as she snoozes away.

“Out cold, she is out cold,” says the person who is filming the video. “Ginger girl!”

It’s an absolutely precious moment to see this tiny foal in nap heaven. The video had been circulating for an entire year before it went viral.

“Every horse has its own personality and every equestrian has own style and story to tell,” said Buyce, who owns her own chestnut horse named Moose. “I love going beyond classic portraits and show photography to celebrate the gorgeous real moments that make riding so magical.”

Buyce says she is a long time horse lover.

“There are no words to describe the happiness that Moose brings me, and I can tell you first hand how meaningful it is to have photos of the two of us together,” Buyce told Daily Mail. “I treasure them. Riding horses is so much more than a hobby or sport, it’s a privilege and one of the world’s greatest joys.”

This is why Buyce loves photographing horses and their riders so much.

“Equestrian sessions are some of my favorite to photograph because there is simply nothing like the connection between a rider and her horse,” she said. “I feel alive when I’m photographing horses and fellow equestrians because I’m a dedicated animal lover and equstrian myself.”

These photos just don’t do this sweet moment justice. You’ll have to watch the video below.
