They’re not perfect yet, which is exactly why they’re practicing!

A few minutes into the course, they make contact with their first hurdle, struggling to catch the appropriate air.

That’s uncharacteristic of them!

The rider bounces around atop the majestic steed as the horse slams through another hurdle, knocking it to the ground.

The rider’s thrust forward off the saddle, sliding onto the horse’s neck. She clings on for dear life!

Then, the unexpected happens.

As they turn the corner and prepare for the upcoming hurdle, the rider slips off the horse completely!

Her inertia carries her forward and in front of the horse as the audience collectively holds its breath.

Fortunately, she falls to the side on a somewhat soft surface.

Her untrusty steed prances onward, eager for more training.

They both could use the practice!

Although the first half of the course went well, they’re not on the same page just yet.
