Not a lot of animals can take your breath away with their natural movements.
Say whales breaching, or maybe an eagle soaring high above. Maybe even a cheetah in attack mode.
Then there are horses at full gallop.
It has to be one of the most impressive and breathtaking moments to behold.

Just watch this gorgeous beast running at full speed.
It takes impressive skills to ride and handle a horse that powerful.
This equestrian certainly makes it look easy. No fancy editing or special effects here. They really are going that fast!
You have to wonder what kind of vehicle the camera person was riding and how fast they were going.

The horse is going at it, head down, legs on full throttle and you can hear the wind as the camera guy films his friend at speed.
And yet, the horse seems to be in slow motion. That freaking graceful.
“I don’t like the horse races, but I love this video! She’s not holding him back, pulling the bit in his mouth or whacking him with a whip… this is pure joy for rider and horse! AWESOME!”
Says a very happy viewer.

Would be great if there was a speedometer.
Not everyone is brave enough to ride a horse. Some require a guide and that’s with the horse just walking around. Walking.
It may be similar to riding a motorcycle.
Rider is exposed to the elements, feeling all the movements and vibrations knowing full well the risks involved should something go wrong.

The difference is a bike can be controlled. It’s a machine that responds to the rider’s inputs.
Whereas a horse is a living, breathing animal that may or may not respond well to the rider.
Horses have been known to reach speeds of up to 55 mph.

You have got to be a different level of crazy to even attempt that on an animal.
This lady is all sorts of brave and crazy for doing so, even laughing in obvious delight at the rush of adrenaline she’s experiencing.

Talk about horsepower.

A viewer named Daisy Cassidy commented,
“This is the way a horse should be ridden, with respect and appreciation. No whips ever. The last time I rode a horse, the owner told me to take a whip because the horse tended to be lazy and wanted to eat grass all the time. I told him I didn’t need it because I would never use a whip on a horse. Turned out to be a most enjoyable ride!🏇🐴”
You can literally hear the engine of the camera guy’s vehicle rev higher to gain speed.
And even then the horse beat the car off the line.

That horse went from zero to sixty feet in who knows how fast.
That lady rider enjoyed the ride. It’s one she never gets tired of doing over and over again
. Must be one hell of a rush.
