It’s a well-known fact that dogs have some of the most disgusting, raunchiest, smelliest farts around. They’ll even rival a teenage boy and that’s impressive.

They’re either silent but deadly and can clear a room. Or they’re noisy and can even frighten the dog who dealt it, leaving them with a hysterically comical expression their faces.

Little kids are curious about flatulence and will giggle uncontrollably over the toot that sneaks out or the well-planned attack fart that gasses out a room. Girls with brothers have no shame in busting out a toot. Boys consider it a contest and will try to best each other.

A group of scientists took to Twitter to answers kids’ questions about what animals do and don’t fart.

They even created a hashtag — #DoesItFart — and a Google Spreadsheet that details the farting habits of almost 100 animals. The research gathered up even has been converted into a book!

Did you know that rabbits can die from a fart?

Did you know that some snakes fart and some don’t?

On the list of #DoesItFart is:

  • aliens: maybe;
  • birds: no, but they could if they wanted to;
  • camel: yes;
  • domestic cat: yet, seems to worsen in the vicinity of the human face and are silent but deadly;
  • goats: yes but their burps are worse;
  • guinea pigs: all throughout the day, very audible and stinks to high heaven;
  • herring: they can fill an entire bay with their farts;
  • lion: the sedated ones;
  • snow leopards: their floofy bottoms help muffle the sound.

One beautiful bride learned the hard way that horses are another creature that does indeed fart — and they fart very loudly!

She and the groom are posing next to a quaint wooden fence, lush green grass poking up around their feet. Her strapless white gown spreads out in a fan shape while she clutches a bouquet of white and dusty rose-colored flowers.

Her bridal veil is pulled back and hangs down past her waist, a tiara adorning her head. The groom looks dashing in his gray tuxedo and stands stoically beside her.

They embrace each other tenderly for their photoshoot, a horse grazing nearby in a pasture on the other side of the fence. They’re smitten with each other; deeply in love.

The photographer is snapping away, directing them how to move and where to look.

Suddenly, the horse rips a nasty-sounding fart and the couple’s response is hilarious! The bride has a look of shock and disbelief while the groom tries to keep it together before laughing out loud.

Even funnier is hearing the person guffawing from behind the camera. Even the professional photographer leans on the camera and tries not to crack up himself. One of the photographer’s assistants is covering her face because either she caught a whiff of the smell or she’s hiding her laughter.

The bride’s comment is just as comical as her reaction.

“That was hilarious! I’ve never heard a horse fart before!”

Watch this peaceful video roll out then the horse’s fart suddenly breaks the silence, leading to a cacophony of chuckling. Check it out!
