Your wedding day is arguably one of the biggest moments in your life. Apart from having a kid yourself, some might say that it’s THE biggest! There are so many traditions and rites that are associated with marriage, making it quite the event to put on!
Part of the process of having a wedding is deciding on the guest list.
When you have limited seating and 1,500 Instagram friends, somebody isn’t going to make the cut! It’s all a part of the process, though. Sitting down and adding and cutting people takes real mental work. It isn’t easy and takes time to work through family and friends.
When making the list, we don’t often consider people’s pets!
If we had to invite people’s cats and dogs to our weddings, we would be in some serious trouble! Thankfully, nobody expects that of us. There are some moments, however, where an animal will make its appearance in a wedding ceremony.
A dog acting as the ring bearer or doves being tossed are occasionally used in weddings!
For loving dog moms and dads, using your dog in your wedding isn’t all that uncommon! They are a bit more predictable than a 2-year-old carrying the rings and people love to see the cuteness of animals during the ceremony. What happens if someone doesn’t have a dog, but a horse?
Jess is a bride who was in that exact predicament!
Jess and Mike were in the process of getting married a few years ago when her friends decided to surprise her with something special – one of her best friends! They did it under the guise of taking photos and lured her outside for the big moment.
As she stood there with the bouquet in her hand, they told her to turn around.
When she turned around, she noticed something strange – there was a horse!
“There’s a horse right there”
As she looked closer, she realized it wasn’t just any horse, it was her horse! Her friends had brought her horse all the way to her wedding and surprised her with him for a photo shoot! What happened next was all emotions.
Jess broke down crying and ran to her friend, throwing her arms around him.
After a quick reunion, she hopped on him for a little joyride! It was clear that she was as happy as could be to see her horse (maybe even enough to make her husband a bit jelly)! As she hopped on the saddled horse, she galloped off in a scene that you would think only came out of movies!
