It was all going fine with them as they were walking on the rocky path with the 3-month old pup. However, their trip took a turn for the worst when an unexpected incident happened.

Danger never stopped the friends from saving the stranded pup.

Things escalated quickly as they watched the poor puppy fall 15 feet off from them, and got stuck on the ledge. Panic could likely be seen during the situation, but the woman only thought of saving her pup immediately. Without fearing danger, the friends stepped up to rescue the pup.

The ledge was quite small, and one of the friends took the initiative to climb down to the very bottom to try to catch the dog just in case it would fall off from the ledge.

The next one to climb down was the pup’s owner, slowly descending to the ledge where her puppy was on. However, she suddenly lost her grip and balance as she tried to grab the puppy, causing herself to fall 30 feet down.

Fortunately, the man who was already at the bottom managed to break her fall, although it also caused both of them to slide down for another 20 feet. The San Miguel County Search and Rescue as well as the Telluride Fire Protection District responded to this emergency as fast as they could.
