Guy Getting Chased By 3-Day-Old Miniature Horse Is Cuteness Overload
It's precious how much energy the baby has.

There are certain animals that you’d never want to be chased by.

A lion, for instance, would be a bad one. A bear would be pretty terrifying, too, as would anything with horns.

But if a miniature horse came running towards you, would you run away?

Granted, being the size of a small dog, there’s nothing remotely intimidating about this baby miniature horse.

Remember that awkward teenage stage where our heads felt bigger than our bodies? That’s what’s going on with this horse right now.

A good 50% of him is purely head and neck, so it’s surprising that he can stand up on his spindly legs, let alone break into a run.

But the three-day-old baby boy gives it his best shot!

Miniature horses, as the name suggests, are pretty tiny. They don’t usually exceed 38 inches in height even when they’re fully grown.

They’re the smallest horses on record, which is hardly surprising when you see the size of this miniature horse baby.

While his mom watches protectively over him, the tiny horse is living his best life.

He’s probably in full-on excitement mode after first getting to see the world outside his mom’s womb, then learning how to use his little legs.

There’s something ridiculously cute about the way he scampers after one of his owners, putting on some impressive speed for a horse of his size.

When he catches up with the guy he’s chasing, he stops for a quick pet on the back.

It’s hard to remember that he’s a tiny horse, not a dog. His playful nature and love of human attention makes him more puppy-like than horse-like.

If you’ve ever had a horse, though, you’ll know that they do a lot more than just standing around in fields eating hay. Once you get to know horses as a breed, you’ll notice that each horse you encounter has its own personality that shines through.

Miniature horses have pretty long lifespans – some of them can live up to 30 years of age.

With this tiny horse being so full of energy just three days into his life, his future certainly looks promising.

The person filming behind the camera can’t believe how full of life the baby horse is already. She remarks:

“Look at him. That is amazing. I have never seen anything like that Sterling.”

It’s an idyllic scene: blue skies, a huge paddock, and a tiny horse scampering around.

What’s for sure, this newborn baby and his mom have clearly got a good life in their little slice of the countryside.

We wouldn’t turn down the lives of this horse’s owners, either – living on a ranch and being at one with nature must be incredibly peaceful and rewarding.

At the end of the video, mom and son are reunited – but little Stirling obviously just wants to play!

When mom starts to walk, though, her little one immediately follows.

It doesn’t matter what type of animal you are – when your mom says it’s time to go, it’s time to go.
