Dog parents love to spoil their kiddos with lots of toys. It makes their doggy children super happy.

But there are always certain toys that our dogs love the most.

These are their favorites. The ones they can’t live without. The ones parents have to keep a stockpile of in case their dog’s favorite toy is discontinued or destroyed.

Dogs are very particular about these toys.

Like Rudy, the pug who will only play with a very particular stuffed fox from Ikea.

Or Jaxon, a 12-year-old pup who was despondent after his favorite toy green alligator was discontinued.

But don’t worry strangers on the internet heard about Jaxon’s story and rallied to make sure he got a box full of his favorite toys to last him a lifetime.

Ben Mesches’ adorable dog Jolene has a favorite toy.

It’s a foot-long Gumby doll. Jolene and her Gumby doll are inseparable. Jolene is completely in love with her Gumby.

She can always be found snuggling up to the plush tall green toy. So, Mesches thought he would surprise Jolene with the life-sized version of her favorite toy.

“Believe it or not, I already had the costume,” Mesches told The Dodo.

Mesches decided that he would dress up as the life-sized Gumby to give Jolene the thrill of a lifetime.

After all, it would combine her two favorite things: Gumby and her dad.

And Jolene’s reaction was priceless. It was even caught on tape.

The video starts with Jolene happily gnawing on her Little Gumby toy. She looks perfectly content with her Gumby while lying on her doggy bed, chewing away.

Then you hear some giggling in the background and camera pans up to a giant, and frankly terrifying-looking, Gumby walking into the room. The camera then pans back to Jolene.

She immediately perks up and drops her toy. She is just starring at it with her jaw dropped.

Completely stunned by what she is witnessing. Her favorite thing in the whole world… come to life.

Gumby comes a little bit closer and Jolene stands up. She curiously walks over to the giant Gumby while wagging her tail just a little bit.

She wants to wag it in excitement but she also is a little suspicious.

She gives Gumby a few sniffs and immediately recognizes the smell. That’s when she completely loses it.

He jumps up onto Gumby and starts nuzzling him like crazy. This pup just couldn’t be more excited.

She’s basically freaking out and jumping all over Gumby.

Then they tumble to the floor for some more pets and nuzzles. Jolene couldn’t have been more excited.

And her humans were hysterically laughing the whole time.

Eventually, Mesches revealed himself to Jolene.

But she didn’t mind one bit.

She was still super excited that her best buddy had come to life.

“She was still very excited for about an hour,” Mesches said.

Eventually, Jolene did calm down.

Well, that or Mesches decided to finally take off his Gumby get-up.

After that, Jolene went right back to cuddling and drooling all over her toy-sized Gumby.

“She likes to use him as a pillow. It’s really cute,” said Mesches.
