Have you seen Groundhog Day?

Unfortunately, Bill Murray’s not here and time doesn’t exactly reset, but today is certainly a groundhog day of sorts. And if you haven’t seen it, definitely check out the film!

Most people don’t know much about groundhogs, but they’re honestly kind of cute.

Meet Nugget and Chibbles, a pair of giving groundhogs!

Who has the privilege of hanging out with these groundhogs and recording them?!

The duo heads to the back yard, meeting up at a small, wooden table. But not for tea – they’re ready for a healthy, picnic buffet.

This is a lunch date for the ages.

Nugget and Chibbles proceed to nibble on their delicious lunch. They’re two peas in a pod!

I imagine if they had peas, they’d scarf those down, too!

The delightful groundhog duo continues to share lunch at their adorable miniature wooden table.

Good thing they aren’t beavers ready to build a dam!

Ironically, another name for a groundhog is the woodchuck…

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? The world may never know.

But it doesn’t matter, there are more than enough tomatoes to go around.

Chomp, chomp!

So what exactly do groundhogs eat besides tomatoes?

Well, they prefer veggies such as peas and broccoli and are known to munch on beans and corn!

That’s actually a pretty healthy diet. Do I see some carrots, too?

They truly have an awesome setup! I wonder if they’d prefer more wide-open spaces.

YouTube user Chunk the Groundhog personally knows this pair of groundhogs.

“Yep! Sharing means caring at Chunk Land! Believe it or not, they actually do share from time to time. We think this might be Nugget and Chibbles enjoying a little picnic time.. They are getting so hard to tell them apart. We hope you enjoy, The Chunks!!”

Nugget and Chibbles continue to chow down, stopping for a quick, refreshing drink every now and then.

The various camera angles give us an incredible peek into their world.

These two seem to really love tomatoes!

I wonder if they like pizza, too.

The groundhogs have a unique relationship with the miniature wooden table.

Like humans, they use the flat surface to their culinary advantage.

They don’t operate with plates and utensils, but their methodology certainly works, too.

Groundhogs are famous in American culture for signaling the onset of spring.

Punxsutawney Phil is perhaps the most famous groundhog.

Every Groundhog Day, the nation waits to see whether he pops out of his hole to give his thoughts on the state of the impending spring.

If he “sees his shadow” and returns to his hole, the tradition goes that Phil expects another six weeks of spring. Otherwise, spring’s coming early!

Nugget and Chibbles have an amazing relationship. They share their food without a quibble.

After devouring some more veggies, one of the groundhogs scurries out of the yard.

But there’s more than enough for another two or three meals.

The remaining groundhog continues to nibble away until only small food scraps remain on the miniature table.

Finally, the meal’s over. They’re satisfied, acknowledging that there’s always more, anyway.
