Grizzly bears are very impressive animals.
They are powerful beasts, capable of capturing our imagination while instilling us with fear all at the same time.
When one woman sees a couple of grizzlies on the side of the road, she decides to pull over and watch.
Little did she know, these two bears were about to give her one of the wildest shows of her life.
The two bears start to square off, so the woman pulls out her phone and starts to record.
In the video below, you can watch as these two bears size each other up on their hind legs, before launching into a full-fledged bear-brawl.
They start by growling and moaning into each other’s faces, each of them trying to get the other to back down.
One of the bears is a bit bigger than the other, but that doesn’t seem to matter to the smaller one–he faces up to the big bear with plenty of confidence.
They exchange growls for a bit until the smaller bear decides that if he’s going to win this fight, then he’s going to have to strike first.
He gives the bigger bear a good smack and forces him to take a few steps back.
Then the two bears rise up on two legs, jaws stretched wide, and continue to growl at each other.
The smaller bear gives the big guy a good shove but it doesn’t seem to do much.
The big bear remains where he is, squared up to his opponent.
So the smaller bear tries something else and takes a quick bite out of the bigger bear–this causes him to take a few steps back.
At this point, it would appear that the little guy is winning the fight–at least in terms of intimidation.
He has forced the bigger bear to walk backward about halfway across the road.
However, it’s at this point that the bigger bear seems to remember that he is in fact the larger animal.
The little bear takes one more swipe at him, but he’s had enough.
The bigger bear lunges towards the smaller bear with his mouth open and bites down hard on the bear’s head.
He pushes him back across the road while shaking his locked jaws back and forth, trying to rip into the bear’s flesh.
The smaller bear does what he can to fight back, standing up on his haunches and taking some bites and swings of his own.
But the bigger bear is too powerful for the smaller bear, and he ends up on his back with the big bear on top of him.
They fight on the ground for a bit until the smaller bear is able to get free from the bigger bear’s jaws.
He gets to his feet and tries to keep the bigger bear at a distance with some big paw swings.
The bigger bear is no longer intimidated, however, and continues to fight.
Finally, the two separate and the bigger bear chases off the smaller one.
Seeing these two giant animals go at it leaves you with a sense of awe and admiration for the natural world.
