Hearing that you need to go on a diet isn’t exactly the news that we want to hear.
With almost a million views, an adorable Great Dane is making rounds on the Internet for showing his frustration when he learns his owners won’t be giving him chicken for dinner.
That’s not exactly the news you want to hear when it’s late in the afternoon and you’re looking forward to a filling and scrumptious dinner, right?
Great Danes are huge dogs. Of course, they have enormous appetites as well. Aside from that, their diet should comprise high-quality protein, controlled carbs, fats, and a balanced amount of minerals and vitamins.
Aside from these, you can also add some specially formulated large-breed dog food to their diet.
Because of their large size, their diet should be precise to ensure a healthy Great Dane.
Sirius, the Great Dane, isn’t just huge. he also loves food (who doesn’t) and is very energetic as well. He loves his mom and dad and would often spend the afternoon relaxing and thinking about dinner.
Until one time, both his parents thought it would be fun to prank their big doggo.
“Som Sirius. It’s 3:30 and we’ve decided, starting today, you’re only going to eat breakfast. No dinner from here out,” Sirius’ mom said, in a very sad, but serious voice.
They surely got his attention. Sirius was in disbelief!
He then looked at his dad, wanting to know if this was a joke or what. When his dad said it was only going to be breakfast from now on, it devastated him.
Great Danes are not talkative dogs, but hearing this sad news will definitely make any dog talkative, or should we say, argumentative.
That’s when Sirius started barking. His barks became louder when he heard what his mom had to say.
“No more chicken!”
Oh no! You can see how disappointed he was. His growl was adamant when they told him that he will only start one meal a day!
Poor Sirius looked at his mom and dad when they said he was getting big! Three harsh statements a few minutes apart. Sirius was heartbroken.
Then, his dad offered a deal, they can give him dinner but only pumpkin and green beans. No chicken, just veggies.
He said no, in doggy words. When he realized that his demands weren’t going to be met, he walked away.
Then, he realized, maybe, he could try again.
His mom asked if he wanted chicken, so he went to her and looked at her with his puppy eyes.
Sirius went back to his parents and started negotiating again. So, this time, dad offered him “one last dinner” and the pup agreed with three loud barks.
They went to the kitchen to have that dinner, of course, with chicken. Yummy!
For those who were asking, this is just a prank, and Sirius’ mom and dad would never let their good boy go to sleep hungry.
