Tihon is not your typical cat. He is a giant Maine Coon, with different colored eyes, who loves to cuddle every chance he gets. He waits for his owner to come home every day so that he can cuddle with her.

There are other cats in the house, and Tihon is content to allow them to be the leaders of the house. All Tihon wants to do is cuddle – see for yourself based on the photos below!

As you can probably tell by the image below, Tihon is no ordinary cat. He is a giant Maine Coon cat who despite his incredible size, loves to cuddle his rescue mom.

“He likes to sit in my arms all the time. He doesn’t like to be alone, and always follows me wherever I go, even the bathroom,” said Tihon’s mom.

“He is very quiet. In Russian ‘Tiho’ means quiet, hence his name. He purrs quietly and lovingly. His mission is always to be near me,” she added.

Often overlooked due to his incredible size are his strikingly beautiful pair of eyes. One is blue and the other hazel.

Everyday he waits anxiously by the door to greet his parents as they arrive home from work. Without missing a beat, he eagerly climbs into their laps for cuddles.

Tihon has a smaller sibling too, who has unexpectedly assumed the role as the alpha cat in their home.
