Playing is part of every childhood and it is always nice to have a great playmate that you could grow up with. This is the same with this particular puppy who started growing up with a cat in the house. Now, they are playing and cuddling as brothers.

One peaceful day, at a peaceful home, Rocky the German shepherd puppy climbs up the couch to greet a kitten named Simon who was just lying down comfortably. The cautious kitten perked up seeing the excited Rocky in front of him and he knows that the puppy was hinting at some fun playtime. Simon stares right up at the panting Rocky while lying on his back, readying himself for whatever comes his way.
The two are just too adorable to watch.
Rocky first tested the waters with his tiny paw. Afterward, he then went to attack Simon with his snoot. Rocky would come and give the tiny kitten a playful nibble but Simon could catch his face with his claws and sometimes even give him multiple kicks on the snoot with his hind legs.
At one point, Rocky acted as if he was leaving but then he turns back to give a nibble to Simon’s unguarded behind. Their interaction is just too funny and adorable to watch especially with Rocky’s silly surprise attacks and Simon’s hilarious gestures.
The two are having their fun and then one more comes to witness them.
As the two had their share of fun, a large Golden retriever comes into the room as if curious as to what the two were doing. The pooch just watched the two playing on the couch and perhaps babysitting them too in case something goes wrong.
However, the giant pooch cannot help but join them for a little bit. Although, most of the time, he let the young Rocky and Simon had their own playtime only for themselves.
Surely the two would grow up to be the sweetest brothers at home.
Simon and Rocky continued their playful roughhousing until Simon accidentally rolled to the floor.
The nimble kitten was able to be on his feet and falling from the couch did not seem to bother him much. Rocky joined the kitten on the floor and they began chasing and playing hide-and-seek with each other across the room.
Though it would seem like they are fighting, the whole mess was just their way of playing with each other. You would even see Simon love the gentle roughhousing he had with Rocky.
Having a cat and dog in the house does not always equal chaos.
Never believe anyone who says that dogs can’t befriend cats or vice versa because the opposite always happens as long as they are properly nurtured in a healthy environment. Besides, feline and canine friendships are becoming too common that it is not unusual anymore.
Moreover, it is better to have them when they are pups or kittens so they have time to get used to each other. Otherwise, it would be hard to get them to even stay in the same room depending on their history. Therefore, if you love having both cats and dogs at home, feel free to have them both. As some would say, “The more the merrier.”
