A French Bulldog is a great companion to have at home.
This dog breed, though possesses a glum expression, is actually entertaining and friendly.
It is well-tempered but can also be stubborn at times.
Even if they are displeased over something, they are not easily angered, but just complain.
Meet this Frenchie named Cashew.
Well, you can see her standing still with her bowl in front of her for a few seconds in the video.
She’s not happy that her bowl is now empty and she wants more.
This cute pup is hoping that her mommy would give her an extra portion for breakfast. Or perhaps, eat the snack ahead of time. She’s waiting for a few minutes for her parent to grant her wish but unfortunately, she’s not getting more food.
Her mommy says:
“No! You’ve had enough. Your breakfast is gone. Move on.”
It just needs a little more convincing to win.
Giving her best, she argues and doesn’t want to move away from the bowl until she’s given an extra for her breakfast.
Cashew tries murmuring as a response. But her mommy insists:
“You’ll get more tonight at supper. You are not starving.”
For the dog, supper feels like forever to come with a half-filled belly. She cannot wait for that anymore so she throws a fit.
The pooch continues to explain her side to her mom, hoping to win the argument.
But, her mommy is firm about not giving her more and says:
“No, you’re not! You’re on a diet.”
When Cashew hears the word “diet,” she suddenly feels emotional and makes her mommy understand that she doesn’t want to be on a diet. She continuously makes a sound to somehow let her mom know how it feels to want more food but getting refused in return.
Seeing how disappointed Cashew is for not having the chance to overeat this day, her mom explains:
“No more breakfast! Listen! Cashew, you’re on a diet because you’re a little chubby. Okay?”
Cashew is not pleased to know the truth because food is more important for her than getting a sexy figure.
So she becomes noisier and makes a sound explaining her thoughts and feelings.
Perhaps she’s saying:
“But mommy, I can start my diet tomorrow just like everyone else. There is always tomorrow, mom! Please let me eat!
Cashew’s face becomes extra gloomy.
She just can’t stop complaining and murmuring until more food is added to her bowl.
Since her mommy cannot make her baby feel very sad for not being able to eat more for breakfast, she tries to make the cute pooch feel better and offers a different thing to eat instead.
“Hey, do you want a snack? … Maybe, an ice cube?”
Cashew is contemplating the ice cube. It certainly cannot satiate her hunger.
Accepting defeat, Cashew chooses to be quiet since she cannot make her mom give in to her desire.
Probably, she accepts the fact that she just needs to wait for supper to eat a delicious meal again.
