A lot of people can relate to sibling rivalry. There’s jealousy, fights, and pettiness no matter how old you are. But did you realize that our pets can be the same way? If you have ever wished that you could return your brother or sister, you’ll find a lot of these doggy eye rolls and dramatic poses relatable. Enjoy these 30 dogs not having it with their siblings.
1. Snatched
Nothing like a sibling coming in and swooping, eating up all the glory. This dog surely is wishing he could return his sibling after his snack gets eaten.
2. Is this a mirror?
These cats are no doubt siblings. They fight. The fact that they could be twins. They are obviously are fighting about who should be returned to the pound.
3. Get that thing away from me
This poor only child was just introduced to his new little brother, and he’s terrified. In his defense the new guy doesn’t look so friendly. I don’t blame him for not wanting this sibling!
4. That’s not a chew toy
By the look on this golden’s face, you can tell this isn’t the first time the little guy has used his tail as a chew toy. That is also the face of a dog who has given up trying to teach his little sibling anything and just wants his old life back.
5. Complete disregard
This poor pup was just trying to stretch out in the backseat, but their little sibling decided to make it less comfortable. However, the other dog might want to get rid of both of them.

6. Everyone wants a window seat
This was the moment the white dog realized he didn’t really want a brother. All siblings hate sharing, and sharing the window seat in the car is one thing this guy didn’t want to give up.
7. Put in your place
Nothing says sibling rivalry quite like fighting for attention. This dog refuses to share his mom and he thinks that putting this golden in his place long enough, his owners will just return him.
8. More chew toys
This big tough guy has completely given in to this young sibling. Nothing says “please return this” quite like the look on his face while the puppy gnaws on his ear.
9. The sadness is real
This pooch has sadness written all over his face. Just look at those eyes! But his little sibling sure looks excited to be posing for a picture with his big brother.
10. Can we return him yet?
These owners caught their two pups hanging out in the back yard. The second dog takes a moment to survey the yard, then decides to have a seat… on his brother.
11. Spot the other dog
Can you find the other dog? This pup has made a pug sandwich out of his sibling. Whether this is the oldest child smother the younger, or the younger smothering the oldest. Clearly they aren’t the best of friends like their owner had hoped…
12. The most relatable dog ever
Little sisters can be annoying, and this dog thinks so too. Have you ever seen a husky with a more human expression? This dog wants a refund along with his personal space back.
13. A werewolf for a sister
“Are you seeing this? Dad, are you seeing this?” This poor grown doggo just got a sister and to say there is a difference in personality is an understatement. All this dog wants is to be alone and an only child again.
14. Plotting revenge
A lot of this photo is about the angles, but it couldn’t sum up the relationship of two siblings better. One plotting how to get rid of the other and the innocent one just curiously looking on in the background.
15. Over it
These cats clearly cannot stand each other. Everyone fights over the front seat, but imagine sitting next to this while you’re driving. It’s a miracle they’re both still around to fight if all car rides are like this one.
16. Brotherly love
At first glance this looks like a pretty typical picture. Only one of the pups is seriously smushed. The back seat of a vehicle is not large enough for two dogs… clearly.
17. The last straw
Most of these dogs just look fed up. This dog is past that. He’s past all patience and decided to just let loose on his sibling. Maybe now his mom will listen and return him for a more peaceful household.
18. Not amused
This dog is clearly not in the mood. He’s old. He’s tired. He does not want to share his toys with an animal that’s not even a dog!
19. Pillow or brother?
All this little puppy wants is some quality close time with his brother. Big brother looks a little annoyed that little brother is using him for a pillow though and is probably wishing he was the only child again.
20. Not too sure
Nothing says I want to return my sibling quite like the look on this dog’s face. This new puppy is clearly harmless and adorable, but his older sibling already knows what’s about to happen.
21. If I fits, I sits
Who knows who came first in this sibling relationship. The original only child may be sitting on the newbie out of spite, or the new one is annoying the brother by sitting on him. Either way, whoever is older is probably wanting to return their sibling right now.
22. Bullied
There are four cats that are in this photo. Clearly one is the star of the show, and the other three aren’t fans. This photo was taken at the moment right before they pounced.
23. What was Mom thinking
This pooch isn’t too sure about its new kitten sibling – or why Mom thought it was a good idea to bring her home. It even got swatted by the little thing! Going from the scared look on the dog’s face, it appears the cat wins this round…
24. Old dog, no new tricks
This old bulldog clearly isn’t happy about his new brother. He wasn’t about to give up his favorite chair either, so he just suffered the consequences of being sat on.

25. That bone is not for you
This old dog looks thrilled to have a new sibling… not. What someone needs to teach this little one is that bones are for chewing, but not the ones attached to other dogs.
26. Refrain from eating one another
Some little siblings can be so immature. This one especially. It’s almost as though he’s trying to eat his own brother whole.

27. You saw nothing
Some siblings get so fed up with each other that they just have to pin them to the ground under the table, where they think mom and dad won’t see. Can we return him now guys?
28. Don’t touch
Usually one dog is trying to win the love of the other, but in this case it looks like the opposite. These two look like they want nothing to do with each other and it’s a battle of who can be the only child.
29. Vanilla vs. chocolate
These two wanted the same spot on the bed, but both refused to give in. So what does that lead to? Obviously one laying on top of the other until they move.
30. Hey jealousy
In a sibling relationship there can be a lot of jealousy. Like when the big dog is supposed to get a new dog bed and the little guy steals it. Life just isn’t fair sometimes. Even for dogs.
