Dixiedo is a fox who lives on a rescue farm in Minnesota — and boy is she naughty!

She was rescued by the organization SaveAFox, which takes in foxes from fur farms who were living in deplorable conditions, many of which would have otherwise died a lonely and painful death.

Founder and rescuer Mikayla Raines writes on the website:

“Most of the pups I get have been rejected by the mother and I need to finish bottle raising them. Some are ill or deformed and would have been left to die or killed inhumanely if I did not step in and rescue them.”

She’s rescued over 100 foxes now, and Dixiedo is one of them.

In the clip that’s been viewed over 1.7 million times and counting in just a few days since it was uploaded, Raines puts her phone on the ground in order to record herself.

“Don’t you do anything to my phone,” she says as Dixiedo approaches.

And we all know where this is going as the tricky little fox enters the frame.

She is clearly trying to grab the camera as we get a few Blair Witch-like moments when we see nothing but tussling grass as the phone goes tumbling.

But the next 60 seconds are what’s making the internet go wild. The little creature grabs the phone and BOLTS away from her rescuer.

And it sounds like she’s laughing the whole way! Her noises sound exactly like a child giggling and it’s hard not to laugh when you think about the naughty fox being proud of herself for nabbing this treasure.

“Oh my god she is adorable! She sounds like she is laughing after playing a prank on you, what a mischievous little thief,” said one commenter.

It’s all grass for a while until we get a shot of Dixiedo’s shadow running along, with the phone in her mouth.

“This was one of the sweetest things I’ve watched recently, and seeing the fox’s shadow with the phone had me absolutely cackling,” said another viewer.

When she sets it down to get a better grip, the camera faces upward and we see Dixiedo’s little face as she scoots around with the stolen item.

Raines enters the frame and we soon realize she’s trying to chase down the furry robber, who shows no signs of giving up her prize (or even slowing down for that matter).

About a minute in, the fox drops the phone and we hear some noises we didn’t even know these creatures could make — but it’s pretty clear they’re sounds of joy since this is serving as playtime and Raines is laughing right along with everyone else.

But she does want her phone back, so she nabs it and records Dixiedo laying on the ground after a good run. The furry little burglar has a huge grin on her face.

This fox has no shame.

“You tried to bury it,” Raines says.

Now it really looks like the fox is chuckling. It’s as if she’s saying “that was great, wasn’t it?!”

It’s clear that Raines has a great relationship with her rescue animals who act a lot more like puppies than foxes.

She even lets Dixiedo mouth her hand as she keeps up the play, petting her, and agreeing that the whole thing was pretty funny.
