Few animals strike fear into the hearts of full-grown adults like creepy crawlies do. There seems to be an irrational reaction to bugs, spiders, and snakes! All it takes is one word while in a room to freak people out and cause them to panic. While humans are most assuredly more of a threat to bugs and spiders than they are to us, it doesn’t stop them from seeming scary!
One family accidentally caught a hilarious reaction on film when news there was a spider in the house was explained.
When you watch it, you really can’t help but laugh because you know EXACTLY the feeling that these guys have. It all starts when Dad walks through the back door into the living room where his wife and daughter were on their phones.
As he comes through the threshold, he realizes what just happened.
“I just walked through a big spider web. Huge.”
It happens! They are invisible (I mean that their design) and sticky! Usually, spiders aren’t sitting in the middle of the webs, and the parts that we humans walk through are stray strands waving in the wind. When we walk through a web, it’s usually a good bet that there isn’t a spider attached to that web!
Despite that reality, the very next thing we usually do is have someone check us out.
“Is it on me? Look, please. For real.”
The logical next step from dad was to get confirmation that his worst fears hadn’t come true. Walking up to his girls, he asks them to check I’m out. Then, all heck breaks loose.
As he turns around, the girls SCREAM.
You would think that the girls just witnessed their dad’s life being ended by a spider from the way they screamed. For dad though, it meant that his worst fear had come true – there was actually a huge spider on his back.
He begins yelling alongside the girls and ripping his shirt off as fast as he can.
Like any sane human who just realized that there is a massive spider somewhere on their body, he strips down! Pulling off his shirt and yelling is the only tactic he can think of and it seems to be a good idea – until it isn’t.
In the process of getting off his shirt, the spider was flung into the house!
Now, there is a spider on the loose. That reality caused the family to frantically search for any signs of the eight-legged terror. Finally, they found the culprit. It was sitting on the floor right where dad had finally gotten his shirt off.
Once they dealt with the spider, the little girl pointed out the funniest part of the whole ordeal.
They had gotten the entire thing on camera! One of the home security cameras had gotten the screaming and terror-induced antics for them all to laugh at later. Once they realized they had all been filmed acting hysterical, all they could do was laugh!
