We’ve all been there. Those times when you’ve received a gift that just isn’t you but you smile and grin as if it was exactly what you wanted. After all, it’s the thought that counts.
Having to pretend you like something or wearing it once in a while or putting it out on display in your home when the giver visits is the least you can do in return for their act of love.
Apparently, humans aren’t the only ones that are aware of this.
When a happy and grateful dog named Kenny’s mother accidentally purchased him the wrong size bed, Kenny pretended not to notice. Which was no easy task because this thing was seriously less than half the size of Kenny.
But Kenny didn’t mind at all. He pretended to love it just the same.
Kenny could have easily shunned or ignored his new gift, but no. That isn’t Kenny’s style.
The gracious canine cozied up to it and tried his best to make the most of his new bed, pretending to be comfortable and cozy.
“He’s a good boy,” his sister, who goes by the Twitter handle @paetonmathes, told The Dodo.
He most certainly is. You can see this sweet boy trying his best in photos to perch himself onto the tiny little bed mat.
You can tell he has his, “I’m trying my best,” face on here.
Thankfully, Kenny didn’t have to try for long. Kenny’s sister posted the photos on Twitter where they quickly went viral with more than 68,000 retweets.
The tweet even reached some big name dog bed companies who decided they would spoil Kenny for being such a good boy.

Look at how much happier this adorable face looks in his fancy new bed. Now, Kenny is lamped up like a king in his luxurious bed. Actually, now he has multiple Kenny-sized beds.

And this cool waffle that he clearly is in love with. He’s still holding his tiny bed down though. It’s just being used as a pillow instead.
huge shoutout to @bigbarkerusa for the bed! Kenny loves it! pic.twitter.com/EWoxFN49C4

It goes to show that when you’re grateful for what you already have, sometimes the world decides to give you more.
