A dog and a cat. A dog and a horse. A cat and a bird. We’ve seen some adorable animal odd-couples before, but Ingo and his owls? They take cuteness to a whole new level.
A Shepherd dog named Ingo belongs to an avid animal lover and photographer named Tanja Brandt. She just so happens to also have a few sweet little owl friends, and as it turns out, they are absolutely inseparable. One owl, in particular, named Poldi is Ingo’s closest owl mate.
“I’ve always loved animals, since I was a baby, unlike the rest of my family” Tanja told Bored Panda. “When I was little, I found every sort of pet and then hid it from my parents. I love the beauty, power, loyalty, courage, and friendship of animals. Many people could learn from them.”
Humans could certainly learn a thing or two from Ingo and his feathered friends. Regardless, the photos are too precious for words.
Who knew these furry and feathered buddies would become so close?
