We’ve heard this all before. If animals could talk, they have a lot to say.

Some people only love dogs when they’re puppies. They are fluffy and small, and every step is so adorable and cute.

However, once they get curious, get bigger, and become more playful, some pet owners lose their love for their pets.

Leading some pet owners to abandon the pets they once loved.

About a month ago, Suzette Hall, owner of the page Logan’s Legacy 29, posted a heartbreaking set of photos and videos.

In the said clips, we see an abandoned dog sleeping with her belongings.

Nirvana knew love and affection. In fact, that was all she knew, until one day, they took the loyal dog to an empty lot, right next to a car wash.

Her family left her some food and a few blankets, and they left.

The trusting dog patiently waited for her family to return. She ate the food and stood eagerly to see their faces again.

Nirvana waited for her family, the only family she knew to come back and pick her up.

But no one came back for her.

“She was lying there for two days,” Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy dog rescue, told in an interview with The Dodo.

After a few days, some of the staff of the nearby carwash noticed the abandoned dog sleeping. She no longer had food or water.

They bought some dog food and placed it near the dog, then they reached out for Hall.

The starving dog ate the food.

Then she slept again. In fact, according to the staff, the dog slept all the time.

Nirvana felt depressed and defeated.

It might just be a few hours or days for us, but for this poor dog, every minute counted. Until one day, she just slept, knowing that her family might never come back.

Hall slowly approached the sleeping dog. Nirvana stood up, looked at Hall, and somehow knew she was there to help.

“I got a leash around her, and she just wiggled her butt,” Hall recalled. “She knew someone came to save her.”

It wasn’t her family, but she knew Hall had a good heart.

Together, Hall and Nirvana went to the vet. They bathed her and gave her a checkup.

After that much-needed bath, Nirvana felt refreshed, and everyone at that clinic fell in love with the beautiful princess.

Nirvana, as they called her, felt she was in good hands.

“She’s something else,” Hall said in her interview. “She’s sweeter than anything.”

Soon, they prepared her kennel, gave her food, and vitamins, and started helping her heal, not physically, but emotionally.

Nirvana was brokenhearted.

She didn’t deserve what happened to her. She was full of love, and she was thrown away like trash.

Thrown away by the people she loved the most.

The staff, along with Hall, and some other friends did their best to show Nirvana that there is still home. There are people who will love her.

They placed her in a foster home, where she would make fresh memories.

“Her foster mom just loves her,” Hall shared. “She totally cuddles at night with her foster mom.”

According to her foster family, Nirvana is a sweetheart who loves cuddles, long walks, and playing!

We’re so glad Nirvana is doing well. Check out a video of the pup below!
