Every day is play day in a dog’s world.
Dogs may very well be the happiest creatures in existence. With their wagging tails and lifelong loyalty, we can’t help but love them, even when they make appearances at the worst of times. They are just too cheerful to deserve any repercussions.
During one Georgian National Football League match, the team got an unannounced 12th player.
And by Georgia, we mean the country, not the state.
In the middle of the second half, a stray dog made its way onto the field, completely interrupting the occurring goal kick!
This autumn match may just go down in soccer history.
This could very well be the happiest video we’ve seen all year. A video with a cute doggo and a sporting event checks our boxes for exciting content.
It’s too bad that each team can only have eleven players on the field. This dog is displaying some four-legged talent!
The dog has full-on stolen the game!
This canine’s got some serious speed out there. He’s probably decent with a ball, as well. Speed and decent ball skills? This good boy could make a decent midfielder. Put him in coach!
Luckily, the goalkeeper knows just what to do!
The goalkeeper reaches his hand out, ordering the dog to sit down. The dog immediately drops to the ground and rolls over. This stray pup seems all too familiar with people.
The pup kicks his legs up to the sky. He wants belly rubs!
It’s safe to say that the game has received a full-on hijacking at this point. That pup doesn’t want to leave anytime soon.
Can we really blame him? He’s probably in doggo heaven with that massive field and soccer ball. It’s like the ultimate game of catch.
Both the crowd and the announcer go wild!
They aren’t mad that the game they spent money on to watch has been briefly delayed, they’re ecstatic to see a dog out there living its best life. We bet the fans will remember this game for quite a while. It’s sure to be the match of the year!
After about three minutes, they are finally able to get the dog off the field.
This poor dog has no idea he’s being lead onto the sidelines. He thinks they’re still playing. When crossing the sideline, the dog finally begins to realize that maybe the fun is over.
This dog can’t be fooled! He doesn’t want to leave, so he turns around and heads back onto the field!
With a tied score in the 68th minute of the game, tensions were probably running high.
A single goal could make or break each team’s chances of winning. Luckily, for both the teams and fans, this doggo is here to brighten spirits. There are few things more therapeutic than a pup on the loose.
This dog has taken three crucial minutes from the second half.
For all you soccer fans out there, you know that the scoreboard time doesn’t stop. Luckily, the teams should get it all back during stoppage time.
