Boxers are just such an adorable breed of dogs, and they’re known for their very affectionate and playful personality.

Boxers love hanging around their human owners and will take every opportunity they have to get some attention – even if we’re quite busy.

They were originally bred to be guard dogs but they’ve found themselves in loving homes all over the world for that sweet disposition and charming personality.

Boxers may not look like your typical affectionate dog and can be quite imposing sometimes, but they’ve got a heart of gold.

According to experts, these Boxers simply believe that they’re big babies, and not a single human lap is safe!

“They have absolutely no idea that they’re too big to be lap dogs, so if you’re going to get in a panic when you end up with 70 or so pounds of dog in your lap, kissing your face, then the Boxer might not be the right breed for you,” the Simply For Dogs website states.

With a title that says “Boxer dog interrupts teaching lesson”, you just know that you’re in for quite a treat.

Of course, since the coronavirus pandemic struck the entire world, teaching made the shift to online.

Campuses were closed, and lessons were only taking place on the internet.

When Deanne tries to read a book to her students watching online, Archie the Boxer decided that he should get some attention from his owner as well.

Even though Deanne was clearly busy, it doesn’t take long before Archie starts to show up in the online class.

When the teacher starts reading, her four-footer simply hops on the couch and pokes her for attention.

The video was taken right at the beginning of the pandemic, and it’s clear that Archie still had to get used to the situation as well.

One thing was for sure: he didn’t like the fact that Deanne had to share her attention with other people.

Deanne tries to ignore the efforts of Archie and keeps reading, but it’s clear that the Boxer wouldn’t give up soon.

At this point, he tries to grab mom’s attention in a more profound way by tapping her arm.

When he realized that didn’t work, he started tapping the book – he’d do just about everything just to get a little bit of attention, and giving up simply isn’t an option.

This boxer is acting like a needy child and it’s just the most precious thing you’ll see all day.

Dog Time has this to say about this breed,

“Square-jawed and muscular, this breed is the George Clooney of the dog world–a looker with a sense of humor and an underlying sweetness. They adore their families and will also appreciate consistent training that doesn’t rely on harsh reprimands.”

It looks like Archie was brought up well. He’s just being your typical clingy and needy dog.

Deanne gave him lots of hugs after this stunt that’s for sure.

At one point, Deanne knows that she has to explain the funny situation to everyone who’s watching online.

“You can see that Archie is being very naughty this morning. He is wanting attention, and he’s actually sitting on the couch, when he’s not allowed to be. I’m not sure what’s going on with Archie today!”
