The first thing that comes into our mind when talking about cats and dogs is compatibility. Some people quickly assume that felines and canines would just not get along with each other. However, it is possible that those people just have not seen them interacting much.
This woman heard meows near her home and decided to check it out.

Morgan, a full-time fur-mom to five pets, one day heard of a kitten crying somewhere on her farm. Morgan decided to seek the origin of those sad meows and check what was happening. However, she had trouble finding the little kitten by herself due to the thick vegetation on the farm, which is why she went back to her house and brought help.
Morgan brought one of her cats to help her find the poor kitten.

The hidden kitty kept meowing, and as Morgan was clueless of where the kitty was, she brought her adult cat to help her on the search. Her plan worked like a charm, as it did not take long for them to spot the little kitty on a tree stump.
Morgan noticed that the kitty was sitting alone on the stump with no signs of the kitten’s mother nor her siblings. Either she magically wound up on Morgan’s farm accidentally or some irresponsible owner abandoned her there. Thus, she decided to play it smart by leaving the kitty on the same spot while observing her from a distance just in case the mother would come back for her.
Time passed with the kitten still alone in the same spot.

Morgan felt sorry for the kitten and decided to take her home. She first gave the kitten a warm bath and thoroughly checked her coat for mites and ticks. Morgan then named the kitty Polly and introduced her to her family. Understandably, the kitten was still confused and anxious about being in an unfamiliar environment. However, Paxton (Pax), a 12-year old Labrador retriever, welcomed Polly and tried to do his best to make the kitten feel comfortable.
The gentle giant and the adorable cat were almost inseparable.

Pax was able to make Polly feel at ease by giving her the love and care that she deserves. This unlikely duo just loved hanging out together as they do countless activities at home. During feeding time, Pax would patiently wait for Polly to finish her food before he cleans up the kitten’s mess.
Morgan would also find the animals cozily curling next to each other as they take their naps on the sofa, and sometimes she would just see Polly play with Paxton’s big, furry tail. In addition to that, Paxton would always make sure to keep Polly safe from harm in whatever they do around the house.
Their unlikely friendship has really touched our hearts.

It is just amazing and equally heartwarming to see how the once lost cat has grown in the loving care of Morgan and Pax. Months of Polly staying at Morgan and Pax’s home, she has already blossomed into one lovely cat.
Moreover, she could not keep her paws away from her canine friend for too long, as Polly just loves Paxton’s loving and gentle presence around her. With the silly Polly, he would surely spend his senior years as a happy pooch.
