Dogs do some pretty adorable things and this pup’s anxiety quirk is something you won’t forget. The owner has searched far and wide to try to find options to alleviate her anxiety.

It just so happens the thing that helps the most is her special bed.

Meet Dora.

Dora is a unique dog who has struggled with anxiety since she was little. Dora’s mom, Ruby Simpson got her a bed that’s actually designed specifically to help calm dogs who have anxiety.

This thing means the world to Dora and she couldn’t live without it.

You should see what she does with it when she sees someone she loves.

If you catch her when she’s super excited and she loves you, you might just get a special surprise. If the person is special to her, she might just bring you one of her toys like a teddy bear just to show you how ecstatic she is that you’re there.

Unless she deems you a super special person, that means you get her most prized item and that’s her bed.

Her owner is part of many Facebook groups centered around dogs.

Ruby is active on some Facebook groups like Dogspotting and Dogspotting Society. She loves to share Dora’s special quirk all around Facebook.

Dora always loves company but only the special ones get the honor of receiving her prized possession. This is how you know she REALLY loves you.

Does your dog struggle with anxiety?

It actually isn’t that uncommon for dogs to struggle with anxiety just like humans do. If you’re a dog owner and your pup struggles with anxiety there are many ways you can help alleviate this. This can be identified in many forms.

According to the Animal Surgical & Orthopedic Center, anxiety can show up in dogs in forms such as generalized, separation, environmental and social anxiety.

Some of the things to explore to alleviate the anxiety are creating a safe space (like Doras bed), touch, professional training and so much more.

A happy dog is so worth it.

Dora found the thing to alleviate her anxiety.

If Dora can teach you anything is that anyone can overcome their anxiety with the proper care. Her bed not only has helped her through her anxiety issues but it’s also her most prized possession.

This is why she shows it to all the people she really loves. Just so they know how special they are to her.

Hopefully maybe one day we would be lucky enough to receive Dora’s special bed. I’m glad that she’s found something special to her to help alleviate her anxiety.
