We love watching talented people all from all across the world. Shows like America’s Got Talent (or whatever is local to you) showcase the best of the best! The people that come on the show are usually stunning and have something special that we have never seen.
While we have seen people show us their talents, we don’t often see dogs!
One dog came with his owner and best friend to show some of the world just how incredible his tricks really were! In one America’s Got Talent, Falco and his owner, Lukas, show us exactly what it means to have a bond of connection.
Falco is a 9-year-old border collie that is probably smarter than most humans!
As we will see in a moment, Falco is SUPER smart! Border collies are among the smartest breed in the world, so it makes sense that one of the best dog performances involves one of the smartest dogs.
Lukas and Falco are best friends.
Before the performance, AGT does that thing where they look back from this moment and see how the performer got there. For Lukas, he knew it was meant to be when they went to look at puppies and Falco peed on his dad’s leg! Since then, they have been best friends.
Before that fateful “pee” moment, however, Lukas never imagined having a dog.
As a kid, Lukas was terrified of dogs. He was adamant that the family would never ever get a dog. When he was 14, however, his family let him know they were going to look for a pup. After Falco came home, that fear turned into love.
Finally, it was time to perform.
The time for flashbacks was over! Falco was ready for his big performance as an aging dog, and Lukas wanted to make it a big one. What could be bigger than performing in front of Simon Cowell?

The music finally starts, and we hear the song Footloose playing! The theme is “Cowboy with a funky twist,” especially with the background song! Falco and Lukas start their routine, and you can immediately see their practice.
Falco doesn’t even look like he’s breaking a sweat!
Jumping around and pausing at the perfect moments, the duo dance around the stage like professionals. At one point, Lukas and Falco even walk forward with that criss-cross step like they do in the original Footloose dance!
At one point, Falco takes the rope from his dad and ties him up!
Like a pro-Cowdog, Falco ties up his dad, much to the amusement of the crowd. A few tricks later and the final moment of the song is nearing. Falco is about to finish the biggest performance of his life and end on an all-time career high.
With a flourish, Lukas takes off his hat and Falco comes up to look over his shoulder.
When the music stops, the crowd gives a standing ovation! It’s hard NOT to cheer when you see something as cute and well done as this routine was. As the judges give their votes, it’s YES all across the board. Good job, Falco!
